I emailed them, and the gen4 link has no weight limit.I notice their new link doesn't have a weight limit posted. Hopefully that's not just an oversight, as I'm like ~215 geared up.
Same story for me, i bought an s4 and 2 month after i sold it and bought an s3Is anyone interested in trading an s3 for an s4?
After riding an s4 for the last three months I have decided it is a bit too big in the front for me. I’m not terribly picky on the color. Just want the mileage to be roughly the same as what I have (400 miles) and a frame that isn’t too scratch up (mine has been ride wrapped since day one, has one pea size scratch on the chainstay). Let me know, thanks View attachment 164986
Donde compraste eso que le pusiste? Puedes poner enlace?

Like you i have had the same issue, struggling to find a setting that allows me to ride under aided training conditions and not feel to "Over Powered". My suggestion for you is to experiment more with the 2nd number, as that is the % Motor power. I I would start with a setting like 25/65 and I think you will be much closer to your Gen4. As a reference I ride my eco at 20/25 for training, as it actually feels harder to climb with my Levo than my Stumpy (1/2 the weight), at that setting you really feel the weight. The downside, though, is that it’s hard to find a motor setup that feels right for my preferences—it always seems to push too much. For context, on the Gen 3 I was running 20/90 assist levels. Yesterday I did a ride with the new bike at 10/75, and even compared to my friend’s Gen 3 (also set at 20/90), this one still felt noticeably more powerful.
I weigh 83 kg with my backpack, and with this setup I did a 45 km ride with 2,000 meters of elevation gain—all on rough terrain, no paved roads and I have 10% battery life left. Next time I will try 5/65. In my opinion, the issue with this bike isn’t efficiency—it’s that it simply delivers way more power than the previous model.
I agree but you need to put this in correct context, DJI is a MOTOR not a Bike. I honestly thought it was brilliant that DJI made this move to enter the e-bike MOTOR market, but they did not enter the Bike Market. And to be certain I am not sure why they would when they have developed a product that every BIKE company wants. Anyway big fan of DJI and I hope that there success leads other industry leaders in electric motors to dip into the market for even greater leaps forward for the industry.I know there is a lot of hate .... I do like my Levo...
but this video just made me realised how far Specialized is behind the bike we cannot name.
Especially when it comes to electronics and features.....and I mean really cool features. (not the power)

I would rather have 90% of the power and feature set for 100% coverage and support than 100% of the power and feature set for 10% of the support. Yes the network of bike partners is improving however 1000W is still above the legal power limit so its a bike that could technically be seized and crushed now so why risk it?
DJI has a permanent 1000w mode now rather than 850w turbo with 1000w 30s boost. Which in the EU is 250w higher than the 750w max threshold (250w continuous still applies). The bike is technically not legal even in standard form at 850w. It all depends where you are and as this is the EU ruling it wont be long before other regions start playing in to it as they always seem to do. As such, as it stands the bike is now technically illegal and can be crushed 48 hours after seizure by the police if they really wanted to.This isn't true. The legal power limits are "nominal power". The DJI is within the rated nominal power limit.
Do you have a source for a limit other than the 250w continuous limit?DJI has a permanent 1000w mode now rather than 850w turbo with 1000w 30s boost. Just because it may not be the case for where you are does not mean it isn't the case elsewhere nor does it mean those rulings wont follow and put an end to your fun either. Surrons and Vargs and similar are the issue and until they are addressed properly, targets will be placed on those with emtbs by those in power who likely are also somewhat clueless to what it is they are dealing with. Why risk it?
It’s on the news side of this site.Do you have a source for a limit other than the 250w continuous limit?

Stories like this are plentiful.
In a nutshell, bikes higher than 750w need either restrict their bikes with an update or face reclassification.
It’s the same cr*p all over again that we have had with drones, the weights, the limits on range based on license etc.
New tech comes out, runs riot and then gets regulated. A story as old as time.
Anyway, now the UK has the internet regulated to a point where privacy now means a VPN as standard (or if they get made illegal) becoming a hermit and staying off the internet entirely, does it really surprise anyone that this too is also coming in to affect?
The article is may 6th, there's been developments since. Depending on where you are in the world will depend on the info that google churns out and with the latest "child online safety act" I am currently in NZ which means messing about."makes a number of salient points regarding the proposals, which are still a long way from becoming law in the EU"
Doesn't seem like that is law.
DJI don’t warranty head tubes because DJI don’t make head tubes.I wouldn't worry about it.
DJIs support network is limited, Specialized, Bosch and Shimanos are not.
DJI are refusing warranty claims right left and centre for mini issues that simply shouldn't happen, there are plenty on here, go check out the head tube issue on a thread here and you will see what I mean.

Having ridden one with the update and ridden the Bosch with the update and all the other parameters bumped up to oblivion there really isn't all that much difference between them except for bike weight. A friend of mine has an S-Works Levo 4, again like the Bosch, its just not noticeable having the extra 11nm at the expense of 30w less power. One thing I will say, its noisier than the Bosch which I didn't think it would be.
Until DJI can sort the network and support, I wont be parting my cash and until they address the rules and regulations here I wouldn't want to risk with upgrades the best part of £10k!
On a side note, the Levo doesn't offer the value that the DJI does or a good chunk of Bosch powered bikes so if there is room to grumble then that would be where my energy would be. £11.5k for an S-works or £9k for the PL carbon pro.. where is the extra £2.5k at Specialized? And if you look at Bosch Bikes, you can get kitted out Fox Kashima bikes with XO/XX, Carbon wheels and all the pretty bits for £8k! That's a £3.5k difference. I think Specialized have priced the bike 10-15% above where it should be in ALL entry points.
Amflow is a DJI brand....DJI don’t warranty head tubes because DJI don’t make head tubes.
I think you mean Amflow.
Yea, it all stemmed from my original post this morning where by in a nutshell I've asked does it matter if DJI do XYZ when in the real world its barely noticeable if at all and with that tangents.Getting slightly offroad here, are we...![]()
