Sizing question - Cube Stereo Hybrid ONE44 / ONE77

Hi, I am coming from a Specialized Levo SL Gen1 size L. Buying my first full fat eMtb. While still deciding between One44 HPC and One77 HPC I am also unshure which size should I get for my 182 cm height and 87 cm inseam. The Cube webpage says I am on a lower side of L, but I cannot test the bike since I will be buying on a website as locally I do not have a dealer. I kinda prefer just a little bit smaller frames, since are more nimble. Also, will ride the bike local singletrails. No bikepark visits are planned. Will appreciate your opinions. Thanks.

IMO L is your size. I'm a tad shorter than you and I went with size M, I wanted a nimbler bike for sketchy trails. I wouldn't recommend this for you, too small.

I'm 180cm and considering going for the One44 in M, although I currently ride a Trek Roscoe 9 in L but it feels very long (the last bike I had before that was a Medium NukeProof Mega).

179 cm, One77 size L (reach 477) - perfect fit. Previous bike with reach 470 was quite ok, but this is much better

175 cm One77 Large "works a treat" I could also enjoy a medium for what it's worth.

I'm 178cm just over 5'10". I opted for a ONE77 in a M. I came from a YT Jeffsy size L.

The sizing was very similar when I used 99spokes. But, I also managed to sit on a M and a L, and the info I got off 99spokes was correct. I think Cube sizing is big. (Compared to YT anyway).

Your Turbo Levo in an L has similar size/reach as the 44 and 77 in a M.

It looks like you've been riding a smaller size bike anyway? This could be down to Spesh's sizing and having XXL in the range. So a L in a Cube may feel a lot bigger to you..

Hi there, new here!

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but since this is a size related question and I’m the same height of some posters, I thought it’d be fine.

I’m searching for my first eMTB, and my top candidate is the Cube Stereo Hybrid ONE44 (what a mouthful), but I’m having second thoughts about the sizing (I can’t test the bike in person).

I’m 178cm, with 83cm inseam. I currently ride an Orbea Occam 2023, in size M. In the time I’ve used this bike, I don’t think I've ever thought “I wish this bike was longer”. *However*, I see lots of people my height commenting that they ride an L, and I wonder if maybe I’m missing something?

The numbers on the Cube size M are almost identical to my Occam:

We are the same size, I went for M because I wanted snappier bike. Depends on where you’re riding, twisty turns or high speed descents. I have another bike for high speed bikepark days: bigger and longer.

Thanks! I don’t think I’ll ever go to a bike park (I’m a bit old to start with that ), and my local trails fit more into the ‘twisty turns’ than the ‘high speed descents’ category.

So it looks like an M it is.

If possible, give it a try. I noticed immediately in the shop, that if I was to buy this bike for a longer, relaxed rides, I’d probably would have chosen L.

I'm the same height and went for a M albeit a ONE77 not a ONE44.
I think the Cube sizes are a it bigger, as you can see in your table. If you say your Occam is a M, and is almost identical - then I would say stick to a M in the Cube.

If I compare the ONE44 (SLX) and my ONE77 (SLX) - I would get the M in the ONE44 too.

I was on the fence of L and M, in the end I ordered an M. Chatgpt actually helped with some sizing and customisation tips and the fact that on the current L hard tail I sometimes wished it wasn't such a big cumbersome cow
The bike didn't arrive yet, so we shall see!

I'm about 178cm, albeit with stumpy legs. I went for the Large. I sat over one in a bike shop & thought it was a bit big at the time, but that was in chinos that didn't stretch much. After riding it for a few weeks in more appropriate gear, I'm pleased I didn't opt for the M. Obviously the dropper post helps a lot, but I'm slightly surprised just how much I already lift the seat, it would have been even more on the smaller frame.

Also, I think side by side with my older Cannondale Trail Neo 1 (also L), the Cube seems a bit smaller, especially the standover height.

Just got my bike (ONE44 AT800, in M size) and I’m super happy with the sizing. It fits exactly like my previous bike, and I have zero regrets about picking this size, and not the larger one.
