RVng for (e)MTBng around USA

I want to explore the idea of driving around the USA for mountain biking in an RV. I have the following specifications.

• 1-2 person capacity, 1-person 90% of the time
• 1/2-ton towable, e.g., Ford F-150 or Dodge 1500. Upgrade to a 3/4-ton vehicle for consideration.
• 2-bike "internal" storage, even when I'm sleeping in the trailer. I have a Santa Cruz Hightower and a Trek Fuel EXe.
• Has kitchen and bathroom amenities

Note I've never RVed before so I'm thinking small to start with. I've looked at tear drops but they're just too small, and will not meet the "internal" bike storage requirement, unless there's a model out there I haven't seen. 5th wheels are just too big for me atm.

Anyone's doing this now and have any recommendation?
