Rail (750Wh) Rockshox Vivid on a Rail?

Hi - a quick question please : What shock mounting hardware did you use?

Pulled all the factory mounting hardware from the OEM Rockshox Select+

I've gone with a 500lb spring and will see how it rides
I'm 82kg and the bike is 25kg with a water bottle.

It's interesting how little shaft travel there is on these coil shocks.

Mine is a 60 but has about 5cm of shaft travel, before it hits the bottom spacer.

I think RockShox takes into consideration approximately 1 cm of compression of the bump stop.

I ordered a travel change kit to see if I can reach 170 travel on MED frame.

Yes and the piggyback chamber hits the downtube at full stroke compression. Sadly the M size gen 2 frames don't have enough clearance but the larger sizes and later models with the 750Wh battery do. I think I also tried a Fox X2 and had the same issue. In the end I went for a DVO Jade X which has the piggyback oriented laterally. This and other shocks with the same chamber orientation works fine.
