And being put on the naughty step by the wife when I got home.

Drove
Bit of a mission but sun was shining and plenty of banter so all good
Yeah I drove it first time but it was 14 hours solid driving door to door so now I fly and rent a bike when I get there, seem to have a bit more fun when I dont care if I break the bike!!!!

My riding has been mostly bike parks this summer, but now I wanted to do some trail riding with my levo. Had a quick 30km spin around the local woods.

So slippery with all the wet leaves

Great ride this morning, getting up early climbing up out the fog/ mist into the hills and getting views like this is one of things i love most about mountain biking at this time of year, then heading back down into the tree line and the mist descending back over you.

Also i feel i have my Vitus totally sorted now, each ride i do on it i love it that little bit more, and can push myself more and more - haven't felt such an enjoyment of progression since i first rode the Alps nearly 2 decades ago.

Fair play the bike looks fantastic mate. Looks like it would handle almost anything most could throw at it. ?

You guys have such a good group there, wish i wasn't so far down south as would love to spend some time up there

My son is a pro photographer and took these after a recent ride at Cannock Chase, if anyone wants pictures please ping me a PM and I'll pass on details (probably not allowed here!)

Thanks

The scenic photos where taken at the top of Reigate hill, just off the North Downs way, looking towards the south downs. In the second photo its Boxhill that is poking out the clouds on the right.

Last picture of the bike is taken in Tyrells wood, which is at the top of Stane St for anyone who knows their old school Surrey MTB trails, and is the next hill along from Box hill.

Think I got lucky with the photos as where taken on the iPhone

Nice, I really want to do some coast rides this year

Dunsyre, South Lanarkshire. A drop in the temp today for sure
