Correct. Your image shows it mounted on a levo, where it mounts to the back side of the spider (but it's guide lugs are on the wrong side, so you have to be careful lining up.

SEBA's pictures are on an e8000 - you can see the shimano e8000 chain guide in the background on the first picture. On the e8000 the chainring mounts to the front side of the spider. You can see more clearly on this image.

Ah...I see. I didn't realize his was on a Shimano. Thanks for clearing that up.
