Looking at powerbank and vtomman 1500 jump is in the lead for the price wise £609 if anyone has one how they finding it, be using it for camping and charging ebike

No complaints. Although be aware you don't get 1500wh from it. More like 1000wh based on testing with a specialized charger drawing about 180w. So good enough for 1 full charge and 2 lunchtime partial charges with a 700wh bike battery.

Edit oh the jump? I would suggest the flashspeed being similar in price and newer.

Yes that's the one. Dont mix up the jump and the flashspeed, quite different.
 
We’ve started using ours too. We charge the range extenders on our lightweight bikes (after using them initially) in the boot of the car whilst out riding the trails. By the time we’ve used the bike battery up the range extenders are fully charged again, so we get another hour or so of riding,. Result. Way cheaper than buying two more range extenders
 
Have you used the ecoflow delta max? As can get that for a similar price and it's a bit bigger power 2016wh and 2400w not sure which one to go as so many options
 
I may do a test tomorrow if I get a chance at Cwmcarn with the 1200w suitcase generator to see how much it can recharge the Orbea/Mondraker. If I find a nice quiet area of car park it shouldn't trouble anyone

It will be a nice quiet area until you turn up with your noisy smelly generator 🤣
 
I just use a cheap deep cycle car battery, solar panel on top of my trailer, and 300 watt converter. I only charge one bike so it works pretty good. I can charge my bike while at work, and then it's good to go when I get off. The trail I like is an hour and a half away, so taking my bike with me in the trailer is convenient, especially since I work regularly at a plant that's only 15 minutes from the trailhead!

Looking for a bit of advice have the same bike and battery and was look8ng at a power station for lunchtime boosts Don’t need a full charge just a top up. When out for bigger days in Scotland ect

in an hour or so would you get about 20-25% charge back into the battery?
Was looking at BLUETTI PS72 as the power station as a starter
Dont really need an extra battery if I went down power station route plus has other advantages for the wife’s camping

You would get the same percentage charge as if plugged in at home for an hour.

I thought i could get away with the power station for big days out, but the spesh doesn't charge quickly enough.
The amflow would with its fast charging.
I purchased a 2nd battery as well. Dont want to cut the day short especially after driving a long way.

Ok was only looking to boost it back up from say 40-50% upto 70 or 80 when we’re back chilling have some food ect in middle of ride
dont really want second battery atm But might consider a cheapish second hand 500w

But still get a power station at some point
 
We owned an Ecoflow, it was good, but their system works best with other ecoflow accessories. i.e. solar panels. Their proprietary panels are seamless hookups, but they are expensive.

We now have Bluetti. They have LIfePO4 battery chemistry across the product line, so much better longevity, and we've been very happy with our generator, and the ability to connect with other manufacturers equipment
 
Jackory 1000w now at £550!! How come our batteries are so expensive in comparison??

Have charged the amflow on it yet, if so does it still fast charge it?
I.e can you get a decent amount of charge in say a 30 min charge.
 
The Ford F150 Powerboost is a mild hybrid drivetrain option and it has a generator function with a 7.2 KW generator (make certain it has this option as some are only 2.3 KW!).

It comes with a rather small EV style battery pack, just enough to travel at low speeds and idle with the engine off.

I have one myself, a 2021 and it's awesome. It can fully power my RV, it can charge my bike's battery packss easily & I've also wired up my home to be ran fully off my truck. You can place the truck in generator mode, turn off the headlights, lock the vehicle up, and it'll power whatever you need off of just the EV battery and when that runs low it'll start the engine and recharge the battery back then shut itself back off after 10-15 minutes.

Of course you can also charge batteries while driving down the road. There are outlets in the bed and in the cabin and a big 30 AMP plug in the bed (for RV's and homes).

So if you are getting close to needing a new truck, I'd at least consider this option.

I haven't got an amflow, but it would charge off a powerbank the same speed as if charging off the mains.
 
I also see some on Ali express stating 2000 wh battery so not sure how reliable that info might be but at sub 400 nz dollars got me interested. I want to try something. Currently running an avinox system so I'm also interested in dji powerbanks
 
So I picked up an amflow on tuesday and being used to having 2 batteries on the levo
I picked up a 500w backup and used it most rides

to charge the Amflow once back at the car for a hr or so to boost it
anyone have any experience of this powerbank
selling my spare battery so should mostly cover the powerbank price

Good stuff so similar size
only looking for a boost during some scran and Amflow does 1% a minute hopefully Enough for 30-40% boost
 
I have a 1kwh power station and it barely gets my 800wh amflow from flat to full, in winter can be only 80-90%. The avinox charges faster 0-80% as long as the battery isnt too hot or cold. Don't think you'll have any issues with inverter size as it only pulls around 500w when charging.

It's most useful for charging at lunch breaks, but in the summer you may have to wait for the bike battery to cool before it starts charging.

Not sure it’s all a learning curve
don’t need it to full only like 40% max
During the summer I can sit for an hr if need be long days riding
