Avinox integrated battery FS800 is ~560mm long, while removable RS800 is ~435mm ...

To me, it is very unlikely that FS600 won't fit instead of FS800 ... This ~1mm difference should be compensated with a factory battery mount ... Battery itself should never be so tight that it touches the frame, but it must have some kind of mount/plastic spring between the battery housing and the frame so that battery does not rattle inside the tube ...
Double negative aside; I don’t share your confidence. With respect; it seems misplaced when you admit you aren’t sure how the oem battery fits. I would’ve been a lot more modest in my contention. I hope you’re right though.

Each to their own. I'd rather optimise handling before looks, and CoG matters a lot to handling. Agree some can look bulbous, but in the case of the Shuttle LT I just got, it's proportionate and pretty low profile, relatively speaking.
Meh, I'm finding in corners the dready tears the pants off everything else I've tried, regardless of battery size.

I also changed the brakes and found it very easy to take the battery out. What I didn't find easy was getting the brake hose through the cable management tube so I just stuck some soft tubing on it like the other poster here and it was a very easy job. I spent more time total trying to get that hose in than I did the rest of the job combined and with the soft tubing there just isn't any difference that would make that choice worth it. Had I initially been more patient and loosed the cable management attachment as directed by Pivot (2 full turns) I probably could have done it without running it on top of it but I've used those guides before without issue so I didn't bother to read the instructions first. So, that's on me but no harm done. I would have made it work if I needed to.

I think the top spec model is under 22kg:

Weight: 21.5 kg (47.5 lb) XX build

That has Carbon wheels, XX cassette, carbon cranks etc.
I have my Large down to 19.8kg with a still proper build (Mezzer Pro forks, Kryptotal Enduro and DH tyres combo, and Enduro carbon wheels.) Took some £££ to get it there though!

I bet that’s like a rocket!
Embarrassed to say I haven't shaken it down yet, I've been waiting for the final parts, like Trickstuff Dirretissima brakes, and Beast bar!
Should be an animal though for sure.
Never get bored of the Mezzer either. Near as stiff as a 38, infinitely tunable, superb damper, and only 2000g weight. 5 mins job to tweak travel too!

In installing the 600w Avinox battery, did you find it paired with the Avinox ecosystem native to the Pivot Shuttle Ampd without requiring dealer-side activation or firmware enrollment? Any issues? This is a very attractive option which should loose 2 lbs of mass over the 800w system while only reducing overall battery capacity by 25%. Most of my rides are around 2 hrs. under 20 mi. and up to 3k vert where I don't need the full 800 w battery. Also, the mounting screw locations top and bottom on the Pivot frame are designed to secure the longer 800w battery, so it would appear that only one of the two mounting screws would work w/ the shorter battery installed. Did you find this to be the case?

Sadly I had no proper off-road test ride, because there are still no demo bikes in stores near where I live due to low number of bikes which came in the first batch and are now sold out, next batch expected in a few months ... I did only a short test ride around a parking lot on a display bike with near empty battery 🤦‍♂️ My plan is to tune down the motor on a reasonable assist levels (little more than I currently have) to extend range, only using full power on very special occasions 🤣
Also, with my 250 miles I will make more than 30.000 ft of climbing, so I might be using 52T cog quite often 😅

Which superboost wheel did you order? I'm also interested into going full 29 ...
Today I finally had opportunity to properly demoed the bike, luckily I do not regret ordering one at all, the bike it's a 🚀 The motor is significantly more powerful and quieter than Brose 2.2 in my Levo, at higher loads it only delivers high pitch whining noise which is not distracting, no rattle noticed and I do believe this demo bikes have quite some mileage on them, I forgot to check though ... Motor support is very powerful and quite natural, a bit less than Brose but I guess all extra power should take away some natural feeling by design, I was also riding 95% in turbo ... Power is well delivered on the ground, bike in turbo/boost was not like a wild horse on a steep ascents. When I had to stop on a steep ascent, it was a bit tricky to resume riding, like the bike wont give me enough power to start again comfortably, I had to push it quite hard to start and I was in turbo ... Before Ampd I also demoed Shuttle AM and once you try Ampd, there is really no way back ... One thing I noticed, although the bike had the same 210mm dropper post I currently have on a Levo, when I dropped it all the way down, I still felt like it was a bit too high to my liking ... I can't understand why, but maybe it has something to do with different geometry, maybe because of a steep top tube angle ... So I might have to replace it for 240mm travel ... Anyone done that in size Large? How much down were you able so slam it? As you see on my photo below the dropper post when adjusted to my height, sits quite high from the seat tube clamp, almost around 15cm ...
Pivot Demo fleet also comes with Shimano XT brakes and electric drivetrain, which is not my first preference, so I really hope Sram drivetrain and brakes will make me feel like home.

I just checked this by myself: Large frame has 340mm max. insertion depth, OneUp V3 240mm dropper has also max insertion (total lenght-stack height =) 340mm , which means it can be slammed all the way down into the seat tube ... For my height it should be several cm's higher which helps with cable not being kinked too much, which is perfect ... so 240mm dropper shall be 🤣

@salko - I’m a bit surprised by your difficulty starting on a steep uphill. I don’t know the factory settings (or whether your demo bike had been changed), but you can adjust “Assisted Start” to five different
response rates for each assist level. A fast response in Turbo should be enough if you’re in a low enough gear. Did you try “Auto Hold” from the Walk Mode? It will provide an extra boost.

Thanks for the input. Yes, probably factory settings didn't have those features set up properly ... I didn't have time to play with any settings, because I just wanted to maximize my ride time ...

anyone have experience with 600w battery option for Shuttle Ampd? Another post mentioned a user who was able to source and install a 600 w battery, wondering how that is working out given the shorter 600w battery and mounting bolt locations?
