Double negative aside; I don’t share your confidence. With respect; it seems misplaced when you admit you aren’t sure how the oem battery fits. I would’ve been a lot more modest in my contention. I hope you’re right though. To me, it is very unlikely that FS600 won't fit instead of FS800 ... This ~1mm difference should be compensated with a factory battery mount ... Battery itself should never be so tight that it touches the frame, but it must have some kind of mount/plastic spring between the battery housing and the frame so that battery does not rattle inside the tube ...
Meh, I'm finding in corners the dready tears the pants off everything else I've tried, regardless of battery size. Each to their own. I'd rather optimise handling before looks, and CoG matters a lot to handling. Agree some can look bulbous, but in the case of the Shuttle LT I just got, it's proportionate and pretty low profile, relatively speaking.
The bike comes with instructions? I must have missed that.…., I didn't bother to read the instructions first. …
On Pivot’s Institute site. The bike comes with instructions? I must have missed that.
23.5 KG with pedals bottlecage and swat tool.
I think the top spec model is under 22kg:pivots claim of a 21.5kg large then must have been trail spec!
I have my Large down to 19.8kg with a still proper build (Mezzer Pro forks, Kryptotal Enduro and DH tyres combo, and Enduro carbon wheels.) Took some £££ to get it there though!I think the top spec model is under 22kg:
Weight: 21.5 kg (47.5 lb) XX build
That has Carbon wheels, XX cassette, carbon cranks etc.
I bet that’s like a rocket!I have my Large down to 19.8kg with a still proper build (Mezzer Pro forks, Kryptotal Enduro and DH tyres combo, and Enduro carbon wheels.) Took some £££ to get it there though!
Embarrassed to say I haven't shaken it down yet, I've been waiting for the final parts, like Trickstuff Dirretissima brakes, and Beast bar!I bet that’s like a rocket!

Will do when all finished and ready to rideLet's see a pic.

Today I finally had opportunity to properly demoed the bike, luckily I do not regret ordering one at all, the bike it's aSadly I had no proper off-road test ride, because there are still no demo bikes in stores near where I live due to low number of bikes which came in the first batch and are now sold out, next batch expected in a few months ... I did only a short test ride around a parking lot on a display bike with near empty batteryMy plan is to tune down the motor on a reasonable assist levels (little more than I currently have) to extend range, only using full power on very special occasions
Also, with my 250 miles I will make more than 30.000 ft of climbing, so I might be using 52T cog quite often
Which superboost wheel did you order? I'm also interested into going full 29 ...
I just checked this by myself: Large frame has 340mm max. insertion depth, OneUp V3 240mm dropper has also max insertion (total lenght-stack height =) 340mm , which means it can be slammed all the way down into the seat tube ... For my height it should be several cm's higher which helps with cable not being kinked too much, which is perfect ... so 240mm dropper shall beSo I might have to replace it for 240mm travel ... Anyone done that in size Large? How much down were you able so slam it? As you see on my photo below the dropper post when adjusted to my height, sits quite high from the seat tube clamp, almost around 15cm ...
Thanks for the input. Yes, probably factory settings didn't have those features set up properly ... I didn't have time to play with any settings, because I just wanted to maximize my ride time ...@salko - I’m a bit surprised by your difficulty starting on a steep uphill. I don’t know the factory settings (or whether your demo bike had been changed), but you can adjust “Assisted Start” to five different
response rates for each assist level. A fast response in Turbo should be enough if you’re in a low enough gear. Did you try “Auto Hold” from the Walk Mode? It will provide an extra boost.
