Yes its a adder . Very common in sweden to .

They are now protected species
so you aren't allowed to kill them if you have one on your property. I remember when I was a kid—if we had one in the yard, we’d just chop its head off with a shovel.
If people chopped their heads off every time they appeared, no wonder they are now a protected species! :ROFLMAO:
It's a shame it doesn't work with rodents!
I know, have a house adder! Both problems solved in one go. :)

I tried to do a play on words with you being from Sweden. I guessed it might be an Adder but my “Abber” (Swedish pop group very famous in the uk) throw on things fell on very stoney ground 😆😆
Must try harder next time 🥵

I thought it was funny (ish).

You mean adder? We call it here a viper.
Both are used here but adder is probably more common. Not particularly dangerous though;
Wiki "The last reported [UK] fatality occurred in 1975. While about 50–100 bites are reported annually, most result in mild symptoms . . "

Last ride with eMTB long time ago. Luckily got a day off today for a escape. Took a while to adjust to the MTB as I did lot of commuting on my trekking bike.

About 15-20 degrees C today, pretty unusual but feels very good! Mixed conditions according to my shoes, no clue how that look came out at the end of the ride.🤷‍♂️

God NO!
I thought you had more taste than that ..but I guess we all love different things ..
Personally my " dislike " extends to switching channels as soon as possible whenever I hear that plinky plonky trash
I like a wide variety of music country & western and Abba apart 😂

The risk of serious injuries is much higher for children than adults.

Not a big country fan ok in small doses. Got a couple tickets for April, don't laugh. Live in Aviemore Scottish Pink Floyd 🤦‍♂️ .

Live in Aviemore Scottish Pink Floyd 🤦‍♂️ .
..there we go ..I knew you were a man of taste !
Having said that god forbid they play everything with bagpipes !!
I didnt know Scottish Pink Floyd were a thing ..
Having seen Pink Floyd at Earls Court on the Division Bell tour ..and a few years later The Australian Pink Floyd playing The Wall in its entirety at (what was then) The Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle ..I profess to being disappointed in the latter .
However some kind of Floyd is better than none !
Hope you enjoy the gig ..👍🏻

Though I'm 110% not a fan of these maxxis tyres, bike came with an Assegai up front and compared to what I usually ride magic mary/big Betty I've got 156km logged on the new bike so far and have had so many near misses and sketchy moment thanks to the front tyre
Sorry for the late reply ( your post was a little way back ) ...
Couldnt really let this pass as Ive had nothing but Maxxis Assegai up front on my 2021 Whyte E160rs ..and having done well over 6000 miles in all sorts of conditions wouldnt swap it for any other tyre up front ..I also pair this with a Minion DHF at the rear ( yes F not R ) and find this combination works really well year round ..Ive had a few sketchy moments and more than a few "offs" ..but thats down to rider error / lack of skill rather than tyre choice which have probably saved me more times than not 😉😁

If I were you, I'd rather keep the rodents around the house than a big snake.🤣

Haha sry mate i didt get that joke. I thougt you missspelled it 🤣. I was actually googleing abber to see what you mean LOL.

I definitely shouldn't have let that pun Slip Through My Fingers. I'll be more alert next time so we don't have to say S.O.S. to the comedy department.

We don't get much up here so glad of anything I had never heard of the either. Speaking of bagpipes, Red hot chilli pipers were at Speyfest last year not my cup of tea my plan was a couple of numbers but managed whole lot. They do a mean Thunderstruck LOL 😆.

What kind of terrain do you ride though?
My kado's got an assegai maxxgrip exo+ up front and minion dhr2 double down maxxterra on the rear, the rears been fine tbf, 20psi front 22psi rear

Most of my trail riding is technical, off-piste, shaded woodland riding, with steep chutes, bad drainage, off camber roots etc, I know my local trails well I've rode them for over a decade and the one thing I've found with the assegai is once it picks up soft loamy mud it's packed in the tyre until you pick up enough speed to shed it, which I've found means it tends to just vaguely float over soft stuff instead of digging in and gripping. Never had an issue with the Magic Mary on the same trails and conditions, always stayed clean and shedded mud easily regardless of speed. Trails I rode in January on my analogue bike with a magic mary and big betty up front were fine, rode the same trails on the eeb in feb and march with the maxxis tyres and where I've previously had confidence in grip now I find myself unweighting the front wheel and being bashed around from where it loses grips then finds it then loses grip then finds it etc

I will say though, on faster trails when it's mostly dry or sticky they've been fine, but my ballon knot defos pinches and squeaks now riding over moist roots or through thick mud with the assegai and I never did that with the magic mary!
