Pic of the Day

When I was invited to a weekly Tuesday night ride at Phoenix Mountain Preserve, I was expecting maybe 10 riders. There was over 35 last night! I guess when people heard there was going to be carne asada afterwards, everyone showed up. What a great ride!

Had to Google that one . I thought it was a light show like Arora Borealis. Good old piece of steak 😋. Wouldn't want to buy a pint of beer for 35 though, I would definitely be last in to pub.

Finally got out in the snow this year!

Unseasonably warm here in the valley right now. Personally I’d prefer it cooler in February but I’m not going to complain when NYC-region (where I’m from) is getting pummeled with snow.

Took a picture from my balcony. Funny that Arizona calls this cloudy. I guess it is but…

That’s partly cloudy or mostly sunny in the Seattle area where I used to live. I can sympathize with our UK members because Seattle and much of the UK have similar weather. I promise not to complain about our weather until we’re in consistent triple-digits.

I can safely say we are obsessed with the weather in Scotland especially bad weather. Ok if you live in London but up where I live we feel ( ill deen tae ) meaning hard done by.

630Wh, riding mostly in a mix of 4th, 5th and 6th assist modes. I'm not fat, but at 15.5 stone, I'm not light either 😁

I need to tweak it down to around 5 modes tbh, but still figuring out which levels I like best.

About that consumption with the 2020 Giant Fathom E+2 (500 battery) I managed to make 37.8 km and 1020 of altitude difference. Do you use much assistance?

See above ;)
