You must notice how cold affects battery in Finland or do you have a special battery ?
I'm glad that it's not just Shimano mechs that snap through the body! Of which I've had a few, but too few to mention. (Three in fact). Here's a photo ,of my replacements . Can't remember what original was to be honest. I had a Gen 2 Levo Expert 2019 . Gen 3 I have now is 12 speed . Probably paid about £70 for replacements .

Does your Rise just have the smaller 420Wh battery,23 miles and 2490ft of climbing. Got home with 6% battery![]()
It is spring trading for MLB so that’s a big increase in visitors.Top of Alps (Alpe d’Huez trail) at Hawes today. Been super busy everywhere lately. You can tell it’s vacation season because it’s busy beyond the snowbirds.

Does your Rise just have the smaller 420Wh battery,
or were you riding it pinned in Turbo mode full time?

The chute, was still a bit too slippy up there to handle the steeps on the bottom part of lovers lol especially with an assegai up front, had a hairy moment on hips n whips before riding up and taking that picAbout to drop into Lover’s Ledge?
Walking is good for the soul. Ben Rinnes yesterday about 40 minutes drive from home. 3 hrs up and down. Start at 300 mtrs top is 840. Walk it a few times a year also cycle up another way on Ebike.Still no riding due to injury, so here’s a beach from today’s walk in the late summer sun.View attachment 177825

It doesn't make much of a difference here on the flatlands. I'd say 30% and 25 km.You must notice how cold affects battery in Finland or do you have a special battery ?
Today it was a perfect sunny winterday, though I'm looking forward to summer season with summer tires hopefully within three weeks![]()

Brilliant i had first week in February at Serre chevalier area brilliant too much snow a couple of days though. That's my last ski tripI'm back after a week away riding (Snowboards) with No2. The French Alps had so much snow it became a problem on certain days.

Akshirly, wasn't my first choice. Was on my way to my first choice but there was a serious car crash in front of me and the road was blocked. So turned around and went to the above location but in retrospect now realise that could have got to first choice using some lesser known country roads.Schoolboy error there Irie. Sun comes out ≠ let's go. Come back in May, no August. Maybe.

Someone once said to me that Pennsylvania looks like Scotland and now I can’t unsee it.Took a chance and went to Glenlivet no snow at all so great day. Red loop was 15 miles then did Berties Berms 4 times a short blue really good fun that one. Only a dog walker a lad sorting the payment machine and a few lads building a new trail . Someone arrived to cycle as I was leaving.

Yes, but we don't hunt Haggis down here Gan. They're a protected speciesNever heard that one before and not sure about Pennsylvania so. A lad I know been to New Zealand a couple of times and said it's like Scotland on Steroids.
Ive only been there once ( a few years back ) with a similar result in terms of being the only rider there ..things have moved on in terms of development since my visit ..Took a chance and went to Glenlivet no snow at all so great day. Yes it has changed , I never rated it but think it's great now. Nothing technical a few wee jumps you can avoid on the red . Jump park .There are quite a few short black runs appearing now going off the red route. About an hour from Ballater so worth considering. Great drive coming over the Lecht as well. Not far away May. Tak the bonnie weather with yous like you did last year please .Ive only been there once ( a few years back ) with a similar result in terms of being the only rider there ..things have moved on in terms of development since my visit ..
Might be under consideration for our trip in May ??
( 4nights from 1st May Bank Holiday Weekend ..staying in Ballater again)
Stop it! You’re making our friends in California and Arizona very jealous!Within 3 weeks? I wish!
After today, which turned out to be one of my less wonderful decisions on where to ride, landed on my arse three times - twice when the rear spun up and dumped me in the mud and other time just slid out on a corner taken too fast.
New front Shorty 2 turned into a slick.
