Just a quick note. Better wrap one strap outside of the battery cover. On my last tour I lost on my Stereo Hybrid the plastic cover of the battery and replacement is ~40€
for cover + lock button + rubber cover for button. 
I am sure it was click-locked to the frame and did hold for >200km before.In 2023 Cube changed the plastic cover from 90mm to 82mm width to better hold to the frame. Works well on my 2022.

After damaging my rib cage ( bruising) on my last ride out at Torver on 7th Sept...and a bout of Covid to follow it was great to be out with @The EMF again in the hills we call " home" ..The Cheviots which straddle the English / Scottish border in Northumberland .
No border raid today ..more of an exploratory ride to start with on bridleways which neither of us had been on in almost 30 years of riding these hills ..
It very quickly became apparent why they have probably not seen too much action total height gain wasn't really an issue but the severity of the climbs & drops were something else ..so in order to prolong the ride we cut short our investigation and headed back to ride tracks we knew so well ..but not particularly in the direction we were riding them ..and they were excellent.
Very few pics taken as we were concentrating more on where the hell we actually were with a few (accidently on purpose )navigational errors
Wayne on one of the first b/ways which took a bit of finding ..
A familiar track (distant ) ..but this time instead of climbing up we used it as our final downhill drop ( a first for me and it was ffflipping fast!)

Not forgetting my thanks to my riding buddy for another fantastic day out ..

This ride turned turned out to be a real eye opener for us both as @The Hodge mentioned we are familiar with most routes among the Cheviots but today we encountered little used very steep descents and climbs out narrow valleys that we’ve never ridden before.
The pic below
shows the relief on Neil’s face after negotiating said steep valley and stream crossing (not mentioned). To ride the trails the other way also gave the ride a fresh feel to it

The only tool I took today was me.
Couldn’t climb up the Large Marble Rock Garden …too wet, so I rode some regular trails.

Another lucky dry Sunday after a rather wet (and busy) week. Always great to be outside.
Two strange looking red houses in the last pic.
Be the houses of ill repute I imagine .

Got out for the first time for a couple of weeks after damaging my back. Quack said as long as I could get my bike on and off the rack without pain, I was good to go.
