Very windy and very muddy ride today but it was great to get out. Managed to avoid the rain too which was a bonus.
Ive swapped the front Minion for an Assegai and I think it makes a big difference in the mud and slop. The bike seems to roll better overall. Still have the DHR on the rear and Im liking the combo.
And as usual I gave careful consideration to fueling my body.
A grand day out indeed.

Today tried out a favourite before riding on it with wife tomorrow (UK South Downs). These pics are after the wheels had cleaned up a bit. The front is a Magic Mary and rear a DHR2.
Definitely not a good idea going there tomorrow with the wife!

We recently had a wind event here on the coast and the trails are trashed so I have been doing what I can to avoid them....took a side trip to the light house today.
Going to have to get to work though sooner or later.....cause no one else is going to do it!

I took to the groomed Nordic ski trails but had something else in mind besides skiing. Let a few psi out of the Wrathchilds and let er rip.
Then aired up the tires prior to the ride back to home base.
