Well, winter is close and you have those new saws……
That was a bad storm. My company has cargo on a vessel from Germany to America that was rested with many other vessels for a couple of days in the baie de la Seine due that storm on the Atlanic heading into the Channel with waves up to 12 metres.

Close .. I have those "old" saws (this is just some of them) ... not new ones ...
My crappy but dependable cheapo Lidl's/parkside (the A2 by Scheppach, not the newer B3 by Grizzly - though used one of them yesterday and it was a pretty nice saw for a Chinese saw) quicky grab and go abuse saw wouldn't start and a full strip wouldn't get it going so starting digging out old saws and spent an hour getting them going just for entertainment.

Many many years ago when I was into motocross, I bought a set of Metzeler Tyre Levers. I still have them and they are unbreakable on any tyres. I don't think you can get them anymore.

Only 6 more weeks and it will start getting lighter again.....
Now that is an optimists answer. Another couple of weeks if I don't go out by 12 pm I could end up getting caught in the dark at 3pm.

Go all day here off road..
One area of the good old death trail has been sanitised recently tho to gravel so go around it down through the boulder gully.
Some of the old bits of path were bloody lethal and some stupid ramblers complained.

This was an excellent ride out in late Autumn sunshine with little or no wind. A couple of pics to go with the @The Hodge pics.
Our first trial of Sainsbury’s/ Home Bargains winter wet weather gear passed with flying colours through a real boggy section on this route (nearly always up to the knees even in the summer). Once the bog crossing was out of the way the protective bags were used to tidy the shooters hut after our sarnies.
