What a difference 10 degrees makes. Today it's like frozen superconducting calibrated breakaway biodegradable velcro. Its crunchy and fast...

I didn't see the second pic when I commented!I smacked it a few times then squeezed a lid on ... ok, the lid sat way off the pan, so more balanced than squeezed .. but the thought was there ..
All gone now .. took two goes as it wouldn't all fit on the plate

Well you can do that if you want a short ride ..Its a circular route starting from Westgate..and the downhill highlight is further on ...the bridleway drop off Race Head down to Cowshill.

Sorry.....how dare I. Wheels are clean as I hit the puddles on the road at the end. FYI it’s a Giant E+ 1 ....we’ll it was.
That is the reason I fit mudguards in the winter. I hate having them on the bike but it’s more comfortable at the end.
The rear is pretty much useless for the rider but does save the bike...a bit.
The front mudguard only really keeps the riders face and chest clear which I guess is a good thing.
Both make the bike look shit.....along with the rubbish but practical waterproof bag under the seat....saved my bacon when my tubeless valve was ripped off and I needed to fit a tube. No quick release on the rear wheel either so needed the parktool within as well as the inner tube

A couple from our 'Send it for Santa' ride out last weekend. I thought there might be a few different outfit options but with numbers limited to 6 it looks like I'm the odd one out as a festively plump Rudolf ? Riding with a suit constantly getting caught on/behind the saddle was interesting!

This buck lost his sauce. I'd hate to see the fella who took his number. This was a clean hit that knocked all the antlers of a buck with an easy 18 inch spread.

Get one of these:
They fasten onto your seat post or your dropper body. Can easily be removed in seconds. Unlike fitted mudguards they do not clog with mud. And they are cheap. They fit wheelsize 26" -29" and any rear travel.

Still don't believe me ..look at this next pic ..there are crop type circles on the ground ..so how do you explain that ? eh? eh ?
If that was in my beloved Kentucky, I'd say it's forsure that the phenomenon you see, is caused by locals doing donuts on anything that will do a donut. Being that you're not in the south... I do not have an explanation.
