What`s up with the vintage seats !??
2020 bike with a 1920 seat ? No Ergon . Why ?

It's the only seat I find truly comfy for long rides. The Brookes leather saddles take a while to break in but over time moulds to your body shape. The wife is still using the seat that came with her bike and is happy with it.
No padded pants needed for me!

Dunkery beacon today, 520 metres above Porlock our base. Lots of climbing and descending on route.
The 3.75 mile, 400 metre descent from Hawkcombe head back into Porlock on single track is totally brilliant.

Wanna know a little trick to move any amount of cattle from your path?
Simply pick up a stick/twig.(It doesn't even have to be big) and hold it in your hand, arm outstretched to the side of you while looking at them. The cattle will see it and retreat. You don't even need to wave the stick or make any sound.
Try it.
Thank me later.

Just love the pics. My return to MTB via my ebike has been temporarily halted due to a mixture of wet rocks and over enthusiasm which resulted in a fractured wrist so its good to be inspired by these pics which remind me what Im missing and what I have to look forward to again in a few weeks!
