Top of Mallards Pike in the Forest of Dean. A choice of 10 or so trails to drop into and conditions are so prime it’s a crime to be going back to work tomorrow...

Love this thread. I feel very lucky that I can jump on my bike and be here an hour later.

Stunning mate.

Lucky here too, though a little gentler over here in Yorkshire.
A couple from this evenings ride.
I find myself whistling theme tune to "All Creatures Great n Small" as a ride along.

Still finding new local trails too

Top of Great Hill near Bolton, my new go to ride. Had a miserable time trying to get to the top on an icy night ride last winter with friends who are much better riders, so I'm determined to know the route and improve my climbing technique. The ride home is mostly roads where I can fool myself into thinking I can chase the roadies.

in her defence that is a steep track and that was probably the easiest part of it. I wasn’t best pleased with my chosen route but you live and learn. ? It is highly recommended though just for the views over to Manchester & beyond.

Today's ride to Birkrigg Common (near Ulverston, Cumbria), looking across Morecambe Bay towards Heysham, with the nuclear power station poking out of the mist in the distance.

Isn't there a stone circle nearby? I'm sure I did a walk there years ago ?

#edited to avoid confusion ?
