Got to say I’m over the moon with how bright this light is ratail price was £325 I got it for £300

I also purchased the front and rear Hope tech 4 E4 brakes in black with red top caps on order I will also order red levers if I can find them. And some hope brake calliper adapters

I have to wait till Monday next week to fit the brakes due to the easy bleed brake kit I have had to order along with the dot 5.1 brake fluid as I need to shorten the pipes and route them in my frame I have gone for standard black hoses due to them being hidden in my frame altho I might get red sleeves for the visible parts of the hose

Once fitted I will upload some more photos

Well that’s it I have put the brakes on and cut the hose to length after routing them which was a peice of cake due to some tip from the local bike shop the bleeding process was a peice of cake with the easy bleed kit

That looks cool , I’m impressed, so have you done now , I still want to upgrade my rear shock to the Fox x2
I’m just waiting for my red reservoir caps to arrive then when funds pick back up I may go for some 180mm forks and maybe a better rear shock but when I get my milling machine I might try and make a new rear shock linkage to give me more travel on the rear to match the longer front forks to sort of jack the hole bike up but this isn’t definitely going to happen it’s just an idea we shall see

So here gose

In a few months time Myself and my dog and friend are going to be doing one heck of a journey to Windermere via my bike and trailer and camping gear we are hoping to reach Windermere within a week we’re going to be setting off from keighley passing by Malham cove and possibly passing by Ingleton using my garmin edge explore for navigation and a map just in case

The route has not yet been plotted out on the map I have to think of safety and make sure the route is possible with a trailer in tow I can do gravel roads but not so much narrow single track.

We are going to get food along the way to cook with the camping gear once we have set the tent up and found our locations preferably wild camping but close enough to buy supplies

My bike is an electric bike which I need to charge from a standard wall socket depending on inclines and wind direction I can get between 15- 25 miles from 100% battery to 25% battery I only have the one battery for my bike so il need to find some nice people who would let me charge my bike up for a max of 4hrs and 30mins from 15%
11C4F2C5-4653-4087-8596-7E22643474F5.jpeg

Il also have accessories to charge such as bike lights, mobile and garmin gps

I’m wanting to know if anyone can possibly meet at our address a couple of weeks before we set off to help plot a route that would give us a better chance of seeing the places we want Togo and arrive safely in Windermere i would like some help finding charging locations (pubs, cafes, lodges) were I can leave me bike safely to charge and within the route which needs to be planned

Any help greatly appreciated

I had to shim underneath the rubber pads with some thicker 10mm rubber due to the frame being a smaller size on the drive side but apart for all the getting up and down to grab Allen keys and such turns out to be quite solid and it stays level with suspension travel too
