Thought maybe Rob would have tested the new LTe by now, or is the UK launch later. Over to you Rob, is your video about to drop, or are you still waiting to test the bike?

Wonder why westill haven*t seen any UK based YT content (except one) on the Yeti LTe ? Seems odd that its been 3 weeks since the launch.

Maybe due to availability?? My mate in the US was saying that Yeti wasn’t happy with Silverfish and at one point was looking at going with a different UK importer. I know there was only a handful of shops that got the bike for release day. My local Yeti dealer was asking but was told they would have to wait as they weren’t a high enough volume shop.

Not sure why Yeti would'nt be happy with silverfish? My expierence with them has always been great. Id of thought its more likely import/tarrifs/brexit causeing supply issues.

Silverfish has been great for me too, my bikes aren’t even bought in the UK and they’ve taken care of my issues. I don’t think the issues that Yeti have with them are/were at the consumer level though.

Well thats a bit of a disappointment....... my supplying dealer says theres "No C2 Factories" in Turquoise in the first batch in the Uk, only Manjo and Raw. Bummer, I booked some time off for when they were due (next week), but apparently the Turquoise colour ones have been delayed until the middle of November now, guess I'll be sat at home watch videos and dreaming of whats to come.... 🥹😢😭....😊

Thats a shame, but I’m sure it will be worth the wait! 👍

I’ll let you know, my “Yellow Jacket” dream machine is due next week. 😉😁👍 Yellow is the new Turquoise! 🤓

Looks like battery removal is pretty easy, if not slightly time consuming. I’m not suggesting removing the battery on a regular basis, but for storage purposes or travelling, it looks to be relatively simple, if your a reasonably capable home mechanic.

still waiting for bike to arrive, anybody had their bike yet?

A 5 minute job, not like just turning a key or pushing a button, but much better than having to remove the motor. I guess the bike can be ridden without the battery too.

I believe some bikes are due this week 👍🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

still nothing from the UK press/influencers yet on the LTe 🤔

I actually think it’s not a bad design, compromise, clearly not done for regular battery removal, but certainly a lot easier than my previous Orbea Wild M10, which I had out a couple of times to sort cable rattle and to fit the Bosch module into the frame. Anybody that wants to fit a 600 battery, it’s going to be a breeze to fit!

As to the UK press/influencers test rides, I can only assume there aren’t any press bikes yet!

It was mentioned in a video review that silverfish only have 3 media/test bikes in the UK, although the video was filmed in August so you would of thought more content would of been uploaded to youtub by now. Silverfish posted an instagram a couple of days ago saying the first batch of retail bikes are landing anyday.

Here's some photo's from the owner's manual ref the battery removal and the motor simply swings away on the rear mount. As you say Alfie, peace of pith to do from what I can see 😃

Really would like to try this bike.
Can't believe Yeti hasn't already given you one Rob, 1.1m subscribers on YT, you must be one if not the biggest emtb testers. I guess they don't feel the need 🤔 for some strange reason.

Looks like they should be dropping anyday.

I haven’t heard anything on full-power but guessing it will be LTe.

I am riding the MTe and haven’t been this blown away by a rear suspension since I had a CBF regular bike. It is amazing how it tracks over rock/root/trail chatter and climbs great.
Had you experienced the Sixfinity before you got the MTe? I have heard it is awesome

Anybody got the new Yeti LTe yet, just wondering what size water bottle will fit in a large frame. Want to buy a new bottle as old one is pretty worn, thinking of getting the Peaty’s fidlock Bottle and mount.

We received our LTe stock on Thursday. We received the following bikes
C2 Builds
Turquoise - Large x 1, Extra Large x 1 - Sold
Raw - Large x 2
Mango Medium x 1 - Sold, Large x 2 and XL x 1

T3 Builds x 2 Large in Turquoise both sold

Our next drop is due in November

The lack of reviews in the UK press is down to the cost that companies like MBR charge to distributors/manufactures for content.

Thanks for the info on the UK press charges, never knew this, but it answers a lot on how they do their reviews!

Interesting use of the Fox mudguard on the rear. Looks quite smart. I wonder if I could get one to fit my Levo. Did you just drill some holes for the cable ties?

Used 3 cable ties through drilled holes and trimmed the fork mounts down. Also used some thin foam to protect the frame and stop movement. Here's a pic.

Thanks. I might take my 38 mudgurd off my fork and offer it up to my Levo and see if it could work the same.

I like things to be balanced and look right, nothing else for sale looked or matched the fox fork mudguard, so I decided id make the fox one work on the rear. Pretty happy with how it turned out.
