The brake master cylinder/lever ass’y is redesigned to route the cable towards the bar, so the little clamps are just part of the change.

They angled the outlets inward. I checked them out at the booth at Sea Otter, to me, it looks like you could add the little clamps, and re-route the wire and cable a little tighter. It wouldn't be quite as nice, but it definitely would be an improvement. The SRAM guy said they would be available, I just haven't taken the time to look for them.
