New Amflow Models?

Wait. Are you complaining about the climbing prowess of an ebike? Lol.
No, the kinked seat tube angle read again bro 😉. Where I ride the terrain is steep(skiing area), the Average terrain incline is 9%.
A straight seat tube(much easier to maintain balance in the steep stuff) is a lot more help than a powerful motor, trust me.

For those wondering about the new bikes(700Wh) downtube dimensions.

This are the current 600Wh and 800Wh battery dimensions and cell stacking:

Looking at the downtube on the leaked pics of the new 700Wh Amflow the sketch below is most probably(considering theory and physical dimensions of cells) the way the new 700Wh is built internaly. It is also probably of the same length or a bit longer(cca 56cm) as the current 800Wh. This configuration also aids to better cooling of the cells as there is more free space inside the housing.

You can predict the downtube dimensions by yourself.

This is the 800wh battery in the new Mondraker, it looks very thin in the photos, but maybe a bit wider.

Same for the crestline with the 800w. 700 is probably same length as 800 and thinner, packaged in a non removable downtube and you have the new Amflow on the right in that spy shot floating around.

Yeah not sure I agree with you on this one bud. That STA is 78 on the Amflow. Thats about as steep as you’ll need on a modern geo bike. Everything else is just technique. All good though! Keep practicing! :)

You don't understand buddy. You don't want to or just don’t know the difference between the real/actual STA and effective STA.

Yes the effective STA on the Amflow is pretty much spot on(to correct you it's 77°) what man would want but I am talking about the actual STA(70°) that pretty much negates a good effective STA when it gets really steep, especially on bikes with kinked seat tubes and like I said in my first post if you are tall(it can be but it's not a huge problem for average height folks). A good actual STA for an mtb/emtb is cca 73°+, everything bellow is not really what you would want. The best climbing bikes on all tests have strait seat tubes(tell me why).

Where do you ride, CA hills...not really steep there is it? I live and ride at UCI Wold Cup DH location, trust me I know what steep is. Actually this week-end The Santa Cruz Syndicate team is training and testing here, previous week it was Mondraker...

Sorry buddy but you need to go read a bit more about mtb geometry if you want a conversation with me, and next don't need to be sarcastic if someone has a different opinion or more experience 😉 good luck

nice hills, steep mountains look different though
Thats the ridge through the mountains. We started at 3000 ft and rode up to 8000ft. They aren't hills. That ridge goes for 15 or so miles once you get up there. Those lakes sit at 7000ft. Thanks though. Here's a few more for ya. Nobody in the area rides these trails except me and a couple others. It's no Switzerland but they aren't bad. The trails are steep getting to the top. This is why we need extenders.

I ride in Tahoe. No steeps here. Pancake flat. Def don’t know a thing about anything. Seems like you’ve got it sorted. Keep practicing.

Well actually, I only ride straight up the cliffs of Moher and I say if your rides don't require a 90 degree seat angle then you might at well buy a gravel bike.

These threads have really gone down the drain, but on the bright side, only one more week until avinoXmas.

I know it's been hinted at in this thread but just wanted to see if now we are nearer to release date anyone knows if DJI have totally removed any ability to change countries i.e. derestrict on the new motors as I've read something elsewhere this removal of the VPN / GPS loopholes has been pretty much confirmed

If so, there's no way I could pre order any of the new bikes as the resistance I felt when hitting the UK 15mph limit testing the current Amflow last year was way worse than other brands :poop:
VPN trick still works on the new bike.

@Ribinrobin : How do you know?

I bumped into a youtuber on the bike at surrey hills on saturday and asked him. Headset adjustment, chain stay adjustment, M2 motor as the spy shots shown its in red writing. Shocks now mounted different. More torque and nm but he wouldnt say by how much. He was on the large and in long chain stays looked quite a bit longer than old one like that.

Amateur hour, bro. This is the only place I climb.

9xx wh battery will come later. For now 700wh non removable on 9th, on the 15th removable battery, most likely 800wh. On the 9th we will know about the range extender and other accessories. Dont ask how I know.
I won't ask how you know, but will just say that I hope you are right!
