Stop being such a hater man. U guys find any way possible to hate on Avinox. Just don’t get one! We don’t need to constantly hear excuses for why you refuse to get one. Nobody cares that owns one (because there isn’t a reason to care yet!). If you’re not even in the market then just go enjoy your bike!
The difference (besides the amount of potential energy) is I don't know of an action camera using a UL Listed battery system. However I do know of eMTB that use a UL Listed battery system. I'm not even saying it's an Avinox deal breaker, but it is a factor in my decision making process.
What I find amusing is how many people are quite accepting of others prioritizing a cosmetic feature like downtube size, yet I'm a loon for considering the safety of the battery and charging system. Guess that's the Internet for ya.

I think you’re misunderstanding the entire downtube thing. You believe we all prioritize that which is not true at all. Does a skinny downtube making you second guess if it’s even an e-bike make us excited, absolutely. You’re lying to yourself if you don’t agree with that. Levo, which you own, gets a lot of downtube hate and the issue with the Levo 4 is not just that fat downtube. It’s also not that amazing for riding characteristics, and not light. That’s not to say it’s a bad bike, but why not go for skinny downtube AND good riding bike?? Plenty amazing options out there now and more coming. You stop at us talking about the downtube and think that’s all we care about.

It's cute that some people still fall for cheesy AI videos and still think the US is somehow relevant to foreign manufacturers. The sad reality is that we're now right up there with N. Korea among the most economically isolated nations in the world. Not only are there triple-digit sanctions on practically all international trade, but all DJI products are outright banned from the US. So even if other foreign manufacturers still wanted U.L. approval for some reason, DJI might not even be allowed to.

Come on man. We've had 9 pages of a bike that's not even released. I have an Amflow, and even I'm looking for a distraction.
So this guy walks into the Amflow thread. Posts a fake video of an Amflow on fire. Critics the European Certification, saying it needs the US Certification.
And then when exposed as fake. Rather than apologising for the mistake. He doubles down on the certification rhetoric. Hit's everyone with a "Shit Post" emoji. And you expect that he won't get challenged, and we should just move on ?

Huh? I use normal rotors with a speed sensor disk on my PL.
Indeed, that's the PL setup. Apparently all new bikes are speced with the Magura rotor that has an integrated speed sensor - so we would need to stick with magura rotors, even if | switch brake brands.

Got an opportunity to pick up a new PL carbon silver for $5500. Based on what we’re seeing specs wise for these new models, worth pulling the trigger on this one? I don’t really want to have to wait until late May-early June to get the newer model here in the US and additionally pay likely another $2000, especially since it doesn’t seem like too major an upgrade?
You can just buy an aftermarket speed sensor disc for use with normal rotors.
Magura rotors have opening for magnet sensor, to be compatible with multiple brands.
Avinox does't use magnet, but rather a speed sensor disc. As such, you can use any rotor you'd like with Avinox sensor.
700Wh battery and zero mention of a range extender accessory.

That’s how mine is set up.
Hmmm ............ My PL Carbon Pro is 21kgs with 800wh battery, mullet and plastic pedals with metal SPD clips. Even my Teewing 180/180 Enduro with DD casing tyres is only 22.9kgs.
I guess lets see the official release.
The AMFLOW come with Schwalbe radial Gravity and tubes and they Are Heavy!!
The Weight includeds also bottel Cage and the light.
