And with samrpriceWhat is not fine is less battery capacity, despite more power.
Removeable battery option doest increase the rangeWe don’t have any confirmation on battery and it’s certainly not going to be less battery than what’s already on the bike. If the speculations are correct (which we need to be clear, it’s ALL speculation) than there is a lighter, more efficient battery/motor system coming, along with a removable battery version for those of you who enjoy sitting on a bike saddle for more than 40 miles. I, for one, am not interested in that.
Makes the ebike heavier so it actually decreases the range, together with more powerful system.
Increased efficiency of the motor might help a little. There is no thing like increased efficiency of the battery really. It can charge faster, be lighter but 700wh is 100wh less than 800wh. Only gain is less weight which might very slighly recompensate but nowhere enough to fill the gap of 100wh.
Unless tested and proven wrong, i take it as marketing BS that is aimed at people who dont have technical knowledge in this area. I see a lot of posts here repeating this marketing jargon.
They need to convinve the customer that they are getting better deal by paying same price for smaller battery.
I might wait until next year for the 930wh+ battery if it wont come this year.
All the other improvements are great and very welcome - thatt they amflow/avinox is taking thr feedfack on board.
And they kick the competition in the b*lls with the very first version being so good.
Everyone has different needs, so i guess to reach larger audience, offering 700 / 930+ / Range extender / removeable battery would be a sweetspot.
It might all still come true this year hopefully
