Would like to make a couple of neoprene socks/covers to help keep the battery warm during winter riding. Simply a piece of neoprene to go round the frame/battery and some velcro to keep it in place.

Anyone that has bought or knows where I can order some neoprene? Guessing around 5mm thick would be good.

Last winter my bike was on the verge to shut down due to cold weather, (battery warnings in the log).

What you need to search for is double lined neoprene fabric (neoprene sandwiched between a layer of nylon top and bottom)....................single lined neoprene is too fragile.........if you just look up "neoprene" all you will find are rubber sheets.

Sure........ but I would probably go to a place that repairs wetsuits..if you give them a design they would make a battery sleeve for you including velcro or zipper closure.
I used neoprene from wetsuits I no longer use to make covers for the charging ports on my bikes...............and I made a few of each because they need washing occasionally.
