My first Ebike, just waiting for some mudguards to arrive, then hopefully get out on it.

Invisible mudguards, tell me more. Or perhaps they only work with invisible mud? ;)
I never said the mudguard was invisible but the mudguard is attached with two strips that's more or less invisible therfore the bike looks better compared to other mudguards like RRP.

All hell will break loose if you ask for replacement saddle recommendations
I have a really comfortable touring saddle brand new in shed ,bought it 2013 . What's that about I need help.

Saw this on a Cube FB group, this is what I've ordered, they've stuck the Front Mudguard on the back as well, so goes all the way down at the back and guards the lower pivots and motor, and not as ugly looking as the big massive ones.
Don't think it will stop the shite going up your backside etc, but I ain't bothered about that.
Think they had to slightly modify it a little, Ie put some extra holes in the top etc for the zip ties.

I got the back mud guard same as the one in this pic, but ended up having to take it off because my tyre tread was catching the mudguard inside.

It's strange that many people are bothered by the appearance of their bike, but not at all by their own appearance! It's much more important to me to stay more or less clean after a dirty ride than how the rear fender on my bike looks. And the MK2 Rear Mudhugger does a great job of that!

Appearance of the bike is actually very important, proven with all the discussions around how "ugly" some bikes looks and some dirt on the clothes just looks cool and that you have been all around in the terrain.

Most ppl also have a washing machine.

Some of the colour coordinated dress codes I see on here worn by grown men is embarrassing, they should only be allowed out in the dark. Myself included 😌.

I hit "peak pretty" about 50 years ago. Haven't looked good in a bikini since. But my bikes just keep looking better and better!

However, at 65 years old, I am more concerned about the dryness of my rear end than the appearance of my bicycle. And this is a very controversial point—do protective fenders spoil the appearance of a bicycle?

I'm 73, yet my rear end remains supple and moist!
But no, I don't think they detract from the appearance of bikes.
