Hey y'all,

Does anyone have experience with this frame? Looks to be closest to the Dengfu E10 frame geometry wise.

65.5 degree has tube angle, and 75 degree seat tube angle. Only drawbacks I see are a slightly shorter reach than the E10, and less clearance for a wide 29er rear tire.

This may be a great alternative for those of us in the USA that cant get our hands on the E10.

Lightcarbon quoted me at $740 (waiting on a shipping estimate). They will not paint the frame unless you buy a minimum 20 frames. So we're stuck with matte UD.

Excellent supplier tip, but I believe the other problem is the battery, as these frames only support the BT F03 battery from BAFANG and the ideal would be to support a battery with more autonomy like the BT F25 of 820wh.

Thank you for pointing that out. Any ideas on what the range difference would be with a 600wh vs 820wh battery?

They also quoted shipping at $250 to California.

This does not use the Bafang M620 1000W motor so it's not like the Dengfu E10 frame. It uses the smaller M600 motor.

E10 uses M500 or M600. Can you refer to where a M620 has been used on a E10?

You can ask Melody for the E22 frame that fits Bafang M620 engine. This is comparable to the E10 design, but shorter Reach and slacker seat Angle.

I was wrong about the E10 using the M620. Glad I came here to learn a few things. I didn't realize that you could get 2000W from a M600 like Luna Cycles is doing.

Surprised how good the geo is. Not a ton of SO but not bad. Id like a coil but for that price i could pick a top air shock and get it tuned and still hzve an amazing deal. If they ship to the US , i giess Cansda as well. Interested to see how the builds go with this. Good find!

My LCES 004 frame came 3 weeks ago and is very well made. The Trunnion mount for the damper limits the choice a bit, but is very stable

In any case, it will be a M600 motor of the latest generation and the battery is a self-made with 21700 cells and 777 Wh

That is really amazing (and way beyond my skills jaja). I’m considering this frame with a m600 motor and a BTF04 battery.
What size is the shock you installed? Are you going for 29/27.5/mullet configuration?

The shock dimensions are 185x55 and I use 29" front and rear because of the 180mm fork. I change the steering angle to 64 degrees

The 3 frames that I have ordered from China so far were all very well made. Depending on the intended use, I would choose a fork with 160 to 170mm of travel

Anyone else here with this frame and a non bafang battery? I want to use a 48v engine so the bafang bt f04 600w 43v battery I have wil not be usable for me anymore. But I’m not sure how I’m going to mount the new battery. Love to see how others did this.

You have to make a stable battery cover with which the battery is clamped. Put a little foam in between so that nothing rattles. 42 of 21700 cells fit into the frame.

I don’t have the skills to build such a nice fitting cover. Yours looks amazing though. Do you just push it against the water bottle mounts? They stick out quite a bit.

Cables and the brake line still run past to the right and left of the threaded sleeves. I glued a thin foam rubber plate on top of this, the battery lies flat on it.

Hi Karokönig, it´s been a while. ¿Can yo tell us how´s been your experience with this frame? ¿How does it ride? I have a very specific question ¿What rear shock mounting gear does it needs to fit Fox shocks?

I have covered about 400 km with the frame so far and I am very satisfied. No problems with stability and all bearings have no play and no noise. The shock absorber mount is Trunnion at the top and 22.5 mm at the bottom. Damper length is 185mm x 55

Thanks for posting your experience with the light carbon 004. I also have the LC 004 and am almost done with my build. I do have to build the battery cover yet. I was just wondering if you would share more information about the hardware you used. Specifically the frame hardware at the top and where you got it/ what is it called.
