Hi guys, I am new to this forum and new to EMTB.
Just bought a second hand LCES004 with Bafang M600 and BT F04 battery a couple of weeks ago.
Since day one, the battery was hard to get in the casing, and needed a lot of force to snap in place. First time putting the battery inn place, the bike would not start. After some troubleshooting i found that one of the terminals had bend, so I straighten it, and the bike powered on. A week later, the battery wouldn’t go inn easily and I gave it a little punch (Yeah, I know) and the battery connector pin broke.

I then tried to find a new connector in Europe, but it seemed they were only available from China.
Keen to get out on the bike, I made a temporary solution of connecting the battery to motor around the connector on the bracket.

Worked perfectly until I came home and plugged the battery in the charger and found that is not charging now. The charger stays in standby mode, flashing green. I have cleaned both male and female connector, still not working.

Haven’t gotten the EMTB joy I was hoping for. Should I just throw this battery system back to hell, or is it worth fixing? Any ideas on why its not charging? I would like a new battery build as I have seen on another LCES004 thread in here, but spring is here now and I want to ride it ASAP.
