IF I were to get one I would likely downsize the wheels cuz I like 27.5 but hoping to get feedback from anyone who has done this. what's it do to head angle, B.B. height etc.....????

i have a 19 levo turbo, which i have downsized to 27.5, flip the flipchip to high, BB height is marginally lower.

the SL and the Turbo shares almost exactly the same geo, just shorter chainstay

I will be getting a SL, and moving my 27.5 wheelset over

I wouldn't even bother flipping the chip.
The SL has a high enough BB it can easily be dropped the 19mm lower a 27.5 wheelset would place it.
It'll corner better for it too.

If you're into descending changing your air spring to increase the fork travel by 10 or 20mm you'd have the best of both worlds. Slacker and nicely lower (than stock).
Seat angle is steep enough to cope with the extra degree of slackness too. (just slide your saddle forwards 5mm or so)

It doesn't affect the Head angle at all.. it only affects the axle and BB height. lowering axles (and oviously BB) by 19mm.
Dynamic BB height. ie. BB drop remains exactly the same

I run 26" wheels on a couple of 27.5 bikes on purpose to lower them.
I'd have no issues running 27.5 in any 29" bike so long as it didn't already have a low BB. No Ebikes I know of actually do other than the ESommet. and even then it's really not all that low
