It's pretty many negative comments regarding color and downtube but is that more important than how the bike is to ride which no one knows yet? They're like excessive makeup.. they help distract your from the general visual bleughhh..

Sure I have just never seen it before and there is a Eliminator T7/T9 tire availableI assume rider's personal preference.
Specialized have specced Butchers on the rear of some bikes. Status and Enduro both come with it on the rear. I don't think Specialized have ever marketed as a front only option.Sure I have just never seen it before and there is a Eliminator T7/T9 tire available
Is that a 36 on a bike with an 840Wh 4kg batteryAnother pic of the comp. I don't really mind the side loading battery tbh but they could have easily made it under loading. Don't think a SWAT box is enough reason to go with sideloading for the amount of hate it will generate.

Yes, the comp build come with 36s. 38s on the rest.Is that a 36 on a bike with an 840Wh 4kg battery![]()
Dang, really, that maybe works for skinny ass 70kg(160lb) dudes?Yes, the comp build come with 36s. 38s on the rest.
But why is it Butcher tires at the back?
Yup, it's chunky in the downtube area, even compared to the old one :I am slightly tempted, but that down tube is definitely putting me off.
Just wondered if it was delivered like that or changed because the owner wanted something elseSpecialized have specced Butchers on the rear of some bikes. Status and Enduro both come with it on the rear. I don't think Specialized have ever marketed as a front only option.
A bit fanatic/MAGA review, better wait for Rob & Co more objective reviews.A link to one in the wild and a small review Specialized Turbo Levo & Kenevo | # **Gen 4 Turbo Levo Ride Review — AKA: The Day I Fell in Love With a Robot With Wheels** | Facebook
I agree but nice to have more picsA bit fanatic review, better wait for Rob & Co more objective reviews.
I ended the ride with just 8% after 25 miles and 5K of climbingA link to one in the wild and a small review Specialized Turbo Levo & Kenevo | # **Gen 4 Turbo Levo Ride Review — AKA: The Day I Fell in Love With a Robot With Wheels** | Facebook
What is the official name of this sworks dark red color? Red Pearl?![]()
I don't know - design doesn't catch me from the pictures. Have to see it in real life and feel how it rides...
This is a ChatGPT special.. as someone that uses it basically daily..A link to one in the wild and a small review Specialized Turbo Levo & Kenevo | # **Gen 4 Turbo Levo Ride Review — AKA: The Day I Fell in Love With a Robot With Wheels** | Facebook
If you feel like it , compare the gen 1 to the gen 4. I was always impressed with the way people would not recognize the Gen 1 as an ebike. It sort of looks like someone glued the downtube on in the wrong position and it should have been under loading !?!
I'm not sure why, but it just seems to make the whole thing look like a much older bike ???
Sure the motor will be amazing and it will ride great, but it's really MEH on the looks front for me.
At this price point the” look back” test is very important. Not as important as just how well it rides but at 12.5k here in UK it needs to look good also, no doubt the dark red paint will help..It's pretty many negative comments regarding color and downtube but is that more important than how the bike is to ride which no one knows yet?
I can't help myself, I just dislike the side loading battery. But I'm not in to market to buy this anyway, more into Gen3 as a second emtb...but then Brose was sold so I don't know anymore. I have doubts how the support will go to the older models...Another pic of the comp. I don't really mind the side loading battery tbh but they could have easily made it under loading. Found a more similar sized 2023 Gen3 for comparison (Carbon not alloy like the one above) :If you feel like it , compare the gen 1 to the gen 4. I was always impressed with the way people would not recognize the Gen 1 as an ebike.
Yup, good point .. but with the fat tyres the wheels came out pretty similar outer diameter to a 29 so I went that way .. Will do a downscaled one.. it might look like a little baby !Was the gen 1 not full 27.5? Look like you have it scaled up to match the 29 front wheel of the Gen 4?
Try matching the rear rim diameters against each other maybe. Even scaled up you can really see how stretched out a modern bike is.Yup, good point .. but with the fat tyres the wheels came out pretty similar outer diameter to a 29 so I went that way .. So after tomorrowthen, i take it we will all see each other in 3 years time for the Gen 5......
There you go, this might reduce the number of in thread complaints ??We still have to go through the “ten things specialized need to fix with the gen 4.5” as well as the “can I fit the gen 4 motor to my gen 2/3 levo, and if not shame on you specialized” phases before that…
By the looks of it that might not be a bad move......We still have to go through the “ten things specialized need to fix with the gen 4.5” as well as the “can I fit the gen 4 motor to my gen 2/3 levo, and if not shame on you specialized” phases before that…
Rode a Pro Carbon in the LBS car park yesterday. First ever ride on a Levo as I have had 3 Trek Rails. While a long way from a real conclusive ride. I put a deposit down on it. Neglected to get photos when I went out of sight, and when I asked later was a strict no. They look good in the flesh, and the sideload battery reveals a nice little SWAT storage pouch that magnetically sticks to the back of the headtube in front of the battery. It's pretty many negative comments regarding color and downtube but is that more important than how the bike is to ride which no one knows yet?
