If the new chager is s works only I’m not going with a pro as I planned or a Levo at all.
more power and fast charging is a big FU to everyone buying all other models … very Apple approach to make people buy the most expensive model

All it does is make the bike idiot proof , it’s NOT A GAME CHNGER if you just charge it the night before your can probably get a 100kms in on trail wtf

Best. Deal breaker. Ever.
The idea was ride in the morning and charge for 40mins to 80% at lunch then ride in afternoon.
If I’m spending 12k on a bike and they are withholding tech, that in my view, should be included across the range it doesn’t feel morally right. This isn’t the only thing but is a factor in my decision.

Well if I’m paying 11k for a pro model and they are holding tech features for the top model, that for me is a deal breaker
If I'm paying 15k for a top model and they're throwing in all the good sh1t in with the lesser models, that for me is a deal breaker ...

cube is doing the same, they spec only the 2a bosch charger on the cheap models

More I see and hear the more I’m realising there’s nothing revolutionary about this bike , it’s a SL with a bigger battery and bigger motor, they really made such a effort to keep this under wraps , the BIG HYPE IS ITS BEEN WELL HIDEN
once It’s released it’s going to be like ummmmmmmm really all of that hiding embargo bull and that’s it
After all, it's going to be just an emtb.

So comparing the stock bike weights :

new Gen 4 Expert bike w/ 840w battery : 24.4 kg. (w/Fox38 Fork)

2023 Gen 3 Levo Expert w/700w battery: 23.44 kg. (w/Fox 38 fork)

It appears that the new bike weighs roughly 1 kg (2.2 lbs) more than the Gen 3 levo w/ comparabile components. We know that the new motor weight is the same as Gen 3 (2900 Gms+_), so the increase weight must be mostly attributed to the bigger battery. It is disapointing that the 600w battery and 240w Range extender, fast charger are an aftermarket add- on expense. Not sure I need the 800w battery given the weight penalty, Would prefer to have a 600W stock and use a range extender for longer rides to keep the ride weight down.

All 3 color options are literally written in the last line below the specs ...
I disagree I think that is the colors that are one frame

GCLMET/REDPRL/BLKPRL is what the spec sheet said.

Is it?

Brown mettalic
Red pearl
Black pearl

First one should be Glacial Metallic

I can only see GCLMET/REDPRL/BLKPRL

In my opinion that´s the color comination for only one paintwork. "GCL" can be Glassical Metallic, in combination with Red Pearl (REDPRL) and Black Pearl (BLKPRL). Black Pearl might be the description for the S-Works logo on the top tube.

the color options for the Expert and Comp models do not appear to show up on the posted spec sheets. Might have been cut off on the posted screen shots?
Im thinking that the S-works GCLmet is Gold Metalic, but I hope it is brown. Wonder if the black pearl is any different than the previous G3 black frames?
