Looking at the pic of the batteries. There’s no way it’s modular. Why do we think that ?

It would be awesome if it were. But I don’t see it.

Yes, but i think he is saying the 840 battery is actually two batteries that both fit in the downtube. Take the 240 out and you have your swatbox. If that is correct, I would say that is kinda a game changer. A modular battery is a pretty obvious development, that many of us have dreamed of for years. Being able to override the speed limiter is another game changer imo. Can't wait for Tuesday. My Lbs cleared out a huge display area and are hidding them in the back with armed guards ;)
Well we saw the pics and sizes of the batteries if those are real, then this isn't the case, unfortunately, maybe someone that has seen it irl can elaborate.

We've decided we'd far rather be out riding our free pre-release Gen4's given to us by Spesh for making sure no images or info leaked - because as is perfectly clear - the forum is sponsored and controlled by the bike industry. Shsss - don't say anything to Spesh or they might want their bikes back.
I knew it! I bet you guys also got free lifetime subscription for the boost button.

I take it this is a dealer region option

It's been discussed already in this thread......

Plus there's a separate thread about it .. (Though it's not been populated much so far :) )

Looks good from the pictures really makes the GEN 3 look like something from 2010. The seat tube kink, wired remote, house brand parts, weight and bulbous down tube are a let down. I’m sure it will ride great, be reliable and be the best bike until the next best bike comes out.

The batteries are NOT modular

But if for some reason you wanted to run it without the main battery and just the extender you can, just at a lower power output.

Thanks, very sorry I was not aware so many threads to keep track of.

Am I missing something why is the bike specked with a 2.3 tire ? I was told that you will see that you don’t need anything wider. Makes no sense
Most likely because Spesh doesn’t have a 2.4 or 2.5 and the 2.6 is meh, so the only option is their 2.3= switch to another brand.

Guys are u sure all the pics are the actual Levo, what if this is it? Watch till the end...this would be a game changer

Hahahaha seen this , wish I could bunny like this machine it makes it look like all you need to bob you head supa fast and your ass will follow suit

The blue s-works looks amazing in person. It a bit darker than the pictures on here and it has a red tint to the clearcoat that you can see when the light hits it an an angle. The decals look black chrome.

I guess there are not many blue ones right now for the launch, I am glad I was able to.get one.

Love, love, love to see pics of it.

I am in love with that Expert color, that orange Comp imo looks really bad, curious about unseen colors

I have a founders edition on the way.

Invite only.

Ups the power on the sworks, has all the batteries, and comes with a hyper colour t-shirt which changes colour depending on the mode you're in.

Also has a cage beer chiller.

Hollow crank hot dog warmer.

And side stand.
Wireless remote?

Would be a deal breaker if wired…

Do we think that spesh are just going to blend the models now then, there will be no separate product line under the “SL” range? Or. might that come along later?

My Founder's Edition came with the full modular battery set-up. It'll work on anything from a single cell all the way up to a Tesla battery pack. I just have to select the input voltage using the wireless handlebar remote.

If this is true and Levo gen 4 will be open to self classification, this is going to be a kick in the nuts for the advocacy efforts here in the United States. As much as I would love to have a Class 3 e-MTB, this will only create unnecessary roadblocks for accessibility in the National Forest. Advocates for responsible e-MTB use have successfully built credibility with land managers, focusing exclusively on securing access for Class 1 e-Bikes, which are seen as the most trail-friendly and least disruptive conveyances. Any attempt to introduce new variables, such as self-classification, will undermine nearly a decade's worth of effort to secure the initial foothold for Class 1 e-Bikes. This is devastating news for me.
