600wh battery and 200wh extender. Wish they would have the option to choose what battery you want, I’d go with the 600wh and buy the extender. The 600wh would be plenty for 90% of my rides, I could slap the extender on for the other 10%. Spesh is basically milking you for more money doing it the way they are!
I agree. The 600 W battery is perfect for my riding, especially w/ the 240 Range extender. I don't have a use for the heavy 800W battery which appears to add up to 3 lbs. +_ to the sprung weight. The range extender can be stored in my backpack.

I agree as well. There's 3 of us.

New thread created here as too few people are reading back and repeat posting previous information.

Original thread is here if anyone wants to look back :

Just out of curiosity is that the longest thread ever on this forum?

This should be close to the color of the blue s-works one:

This may be the color of the logos based on the code:

Nope. There are much longer threads.

Even something like the Trek Fuel exe mega thread is longer, though we were catching up.

For a specific bike related thread, I'm pretty sure it's the longest thread for an unreleased bike.

Pic of the Day is the longest thread. 2 Million views, 15,000 replies, 511 pages.

Anyone know anything about this potential Class 1/Class 3 classification thing regarding the new Levo? Rumor was posted in the last thread that I initially didn't give any credibility to but then I saw it posted in another place also.

Would that open the possibility of the Levo being classed as an S-pdelec in EU? Meaning 45kmh speed limit?

The bike will be able to provide power up to 28mph here in USA. I guess it if for commuting to and from trail. Rider will be responsible for taking it out of that mode once on the trail. Not sure of the particulars of how this mode will affect other bike functions but I do know it will have the 28mph mode.

Is this S-Works only or on all models

The person I spoke to was familiar with the Pro model. I did not ask about other models but if I had to guess it sounds like all trim levels have that function.

I posted this, was told this directly by my LBS as they were told by the Splesh Rep. Again can't confirm as at the time even the dealers were limited what they could see on the Specialized site. I was out of town yesterday but it was my understanding that bike shops / dealers had full access yesterday to ordering the bikes and would have thought all the specs.. but maybe not. That said I was directly told the bike had the ability to swap from Class 1 --> Class 3 electric bike pedal-assisted up to 28 mph. It was just another upgrade I was told the bike has as I was more interested in different
specs like the bikes symmetry which was pretty limited on the website on Sunday. Also, this was a US Bike shop so no idea for other countries. and No idea what level of bike but they know I am only interested in the pro and s-works level.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully this make it to the EU models in some form. It would have to be 45kmh however.

Is there any info regarding the alloy version. I just saw a screenshot of a US dealer with pre order pricing and it included two alloy models. Alloy would be my preference but I am unsure how much longer I can put off buying, anything later than May is too long a wait for me.

Hadn't seen anything on the alloys, the Specialized site I saw only had the whole carbon line. I am certain it will all be out this Fri.

If Spesh can pull this off it's gonna be a significant differentiator from the rest of the competition.
Only a big player could get something like this approved in the US of A. With the big 840 you could ride the road at 28mph to get to the dirt, do a fun MTB ride and then ride back to your garage!

If the class 1&3 thing is correct I wonder if it'll be based off gps location, ie if it knows you're on a road it will change.
