So my friend and I are struggling with the 2.8 butchers folding over and squirming on berms and fast corners..

Its either have them fold over on the corners or inflate so high that you have no grip on the roots and rough stuff.

We are mainly riding dh and bike parks with the odd xc ride but nothing over 30 miles so not bothered about rolling resistance or weight.

Wondering if anyone else found this and what they were swapped out for?

Cheers

Yep I know how that feels, mine drift badly in corners unless I drop the pressure right down to the point where the tyre is a very squermy under load and it's a bit of a wory that the rims will get damaged. I was planing on trying cush core in them so I could run the lower pressures while making the tyre more solid. But after getting the cush core I also picked up some Michelin E wild tyres so I'm going to mount them up. I think most tyres will be better than stock just depends what you can get your hands on.
