Levo Gen 3 Is the Spesh Range Calculator Reality?

The turbo calculator says 43 miles for the 500wh battery for flat landers, anyone gotten close to this? Any flatlanders w/ experience to share?

I'm a 90% flatlander that goes to mtb places. Mostly i've seen people talking about 20s and 30s miles for range, haven't seen anyone breaking 40.

i'm 6'2" 180. i set the calculator to eco/flat/15mph/few stops

I used to get 20-23 miles off road in the slop and long grass, really hard boggy going with about 4000 feet of climbing. that was all in eco though. im 6'1" - 210
ive never ridden on the flat with it cos its hilly as f*ck where I live

That's great to hear. my average rides, non mountain days, are less than 1000ft total so that's great news for commuting.

looks about right to me. I live in a flat part of the UK and over the winter have a 32 mile route over country lanes, canal paths and gravel paths. If I leave with 100% battery, I usually return with around 32-35% left. I ride over 95% of the route in eco only using trail on a couple of steep hills.

One thing that has really increased the range was changing the tyres from the Spesh Butchers to Vittoria Mezcals, they roll much better, specially with a higher pressure (I have them in the mid 20s). I'd say theres a 10-15% range improvement on the Mezcals. I'm looking to get another set of wheels so I can just swap those rather than changing tyres.

My Levo is a 2019 comp carbon with a 500wh battery at 95% health (480wh after 2 years) and I'm 5' 10 and 177lbs.

I seem to get more distance than the range calculator estimates for me; I think it depends on rider power as well as the other inputs which I'm not sure the range calculator takes into account.

I did 46 miles with 4000ft of climbing the other day in mix of trail/eco, but that was on a 700wh so not really a like for like with a 500wh but hopefully useful. Ended up with 14% battery charge remaining at the end. 700wh is roughly 1.4 times the capacity of 500wh so I would expect 32 miles on the smaller battery under the same conditions.
