It is not possible for consumers to access that information. You will have to send the battery to YT. It is one of the most frustrating things as charge cycles or capacity left is important to know.

I usually charge it before every ride so I guess that number of rides = number of charge cycles which I can easily find through Strava, Garmin etc.

What I don't know exactly is what counts as a charge cycle. For example if I charge from 60 to 100% and from 10 to 100% do both count as a charge cycle?

A "charge cycle" is 100% use of the battery .

So if you used 10%, re-charged it to full and then did that 10 times - that would be 1 charge cycle.

In that case considering that I return back with 30% of battery 1.3x number of rides = battery charge cycles at least in my case.

If you did 10 rides, that would give you 13 charge cycles. But you only used 70% of your battery on each ride.

Therefore, wouldn't you want to use 0.7 * number of rides ?

To simplify the maths If I use 50% in every ride and a full charge cycle is 0 to 100% then I need 2 rides for 1 full charge cycle.

That means 1 full cycle = 2 rides. So if I do 100 rides * 50% = 50 cycles.

Battery health degrades faster at 100% or 4.2V. Best to not let the battery sit at >80% charge for long periods. All batteries eventually loose capacity, but much slower if you keep it at <80%.
