Hi, newbie here. Don’t own an ebike yet, just doing some research!

currently peddle a 2018 orange 5. Been awhile since I last went out on it. I’ve Got abit fat old and lazy and want to get back into it.

Definitely go for it but recommend you choose a local supplier as I am having a lot of issues with my Orbea Rise. This might limit your choice but def worth it if you need to return it for warranty.
Also my emtb is 18 kilos and considered light but is still a brick compared to my Orange 5.
If you are XC/Trail like me, I would def go for a superlight option such as the Levo sl or Orbea rise. (cheap they are not)
If you plan to charge around everywhere in Turbo mode then go for the biggest battery and motor, It will be 25kg+ but your options are wider and the price point to entry is lower.
