Watched my buddy assemble his new capra elite 29 that we picked up in san clemente yt mill. on the way back home i mentioned that i was looking into upgrading to fox suspension shocks and 38 forks. he assembled the bike leaving out the forks and shocks. he loves the feel of ohlins suspension he installed the ttx 22 coil shock and rxf 36m2 fork on his new capra. he then gave me a smoking deal on the fox suspension 800usd for the set minus the hardware. i couldnt resist so i venmo him the money right away. now heres the big question will it work? the fox suspension are 230x65 x2 and fox 38 170mm w/ 51mm rake. i was dead set already on getting a fox x2 230x60 and fox 38 170mm travel 44mm rake. i wanted to stay as close as i can to the stock configuration minus the fork travel going up 10 mm. any insight would help

Just test whether the rear tyre, linkage or stays foul anything when the shock is compressed the extra 5mm.
you can do this easily by simply removing your shock and compressing the rear end until it is sitting with the shock mounts 165mm apart (230-65)
Everything else will fit fine.
