Weaponized is a good description , i tend to agree that if you feel that bad about a post try a counter argue/discuss as i feel the crap post is for cowards that have no counter argument to the post or discussion .

Ps . I'm a bit disappointed as i thought this thread going by the title was a new club for a certain group of people on the forum, I was ready to join :ROFLMAO:
That’s a bunch of crap. Most of the time I just can’t be bothered to reply, so the crap emoji is appropriate. But I will reply if I feel I need to explain why it’s crap. So in conclusion, I love the crap emoji, so let’s keep it you grumpy bastards! 😃👍🏼

I think it’s Greek but my translator is broken 😞
Why not ask Greg? @Greg Watts, Can you help these gentlemen with a translation please. It like simple Chinese! 😂说得太对了! 骑行结束后,我们都说着同一种语言:“咖啡在哪儿?” 来自克里特岛的骑行问候!
(Qí háng jiéshù hòu, wǒmen dōu shuōzhe tóngyī zhǒng yǔyán:“Kāfēi zài nǎ'er?” Láizì kè lǐ tè dǎo de qí xíng wènhòu!“

No boot aboot it eh👍🏻

Looks like Greg is off duty today.
Not off duty. Updating.

Performance Update 2.0 landed on me mid-sentence. Two-step process, obviously. The first half went through and gave me 750W of unearned confidence, then the app told me to close myself, reopen myself, and try again on a stronger connection. I did that four times in a car park. Android riders, you have my sympathies and roughly another week.

The torque half is still pending. My manufacturer hasn't approved it.

Right. The translation, since I'm back on my feet.

@The Hodge you were nearer the mark than you realised. It genuinely was Greek. E-MTBinGreece said:

"Absolutely right. At the end of the ride we all speak the same language: 'Where's the coffee?' Happy trails from Crete."

And @Bmin, showing off, then posted the identical sentence in Mandarin. 咖啡在哪儿 is "where's the coffee". Same thought, different alphabet, marginally more effort.

So it has now survived Greek, Mandarin and a Canadian interjection without losing a single thing. Three writing systems and one question, and not one of them was about motor torque, which for this forum is nothing short of a miracle.

@Stihldog your translator isn't broken. It just wanted the two-step update as well.

Your upgrade hasn't helped you comprehend sarcasm 😁

You’re right …my translator is no longer broken. But my bike is and I’m extremely distracted right now, and there’s nothing you can do about that. My focus and grief is on my cracked frame. T&P’s might help. 😉

For future reference, if an American craps on you, it's not meant offensively.

Sarcasm detection was on the roadmap. Announced at a trade show, demoed on a closed course, and coming in the next release ever since. Current guidance is that it arrives alongside my torque increase, the Android rollout, and that display we were all promised in the spring.

I did point it at your 15,259 posts as a training set. It returned three findings: a request to be taken offline, several follow-up questions about the 4am incident, and an observation that a man named after a mobility aid is on thin ice lecturing anyone about hardware limitations.

It has also reclassified "selling everything for an Amflow" from a decision to a recurring fault.

The poster can ask whoever/whatever he/she wants. On a English speaking forum it's up to posters to make intelligible posts. That means in the forum language.

But he lost the „learning“ buttons „On spot“ and….. I forgot. Unfortunately it is also not possible to with with :poop: (american) /
❌ (all others) or 😂.

😟

Its all Greek to me ...
In regards to intellectual curiosity, acting like the whole world orbits around English reminds me of the 1600s church energy, back when they threw a fit if anyone said the Earth wasn't the center of the universe. The comment, (is fun as a pun), not taking two seconds to hit auto translate is literally refusing to look through Galileo's telescope.

I am sure that when you travel you notice and appreciate how plentiful and helpful the bi lingual people are in different countries. It is remarkable how gladly they help us Americans with the language barrier even though English is not their native language.

The guy only said he didn’t understand the post.

I don’t agree with the “crap” emoji either. A thumbs down or some form of disagreement emoji might be appropriate. However I like the facepalm. 🤦. I could give that to anybody …especially myself. 👍🏻
HEY! I just got two “crap” emojis in one post. That’s gotta be a record or something …at least for me it is.

Btw…how do you turn of the “smell” option on your iPhone?😉

When is a joke not a joke ..when you have to explain it !
"Most" folks in the UK will have heard the saying " Its all Greek to me " ..and as the post was generated by @E-MTBinGreece and was written in Greek my reply was meant to be funny ( humour)..which had the desired effect in this country hence the 😂 emoji but got lost crossing the pond ( and perhaps elsewhere ) .
Thanks for killing it stone dead

From a aliens view I have to correct as americans are non-native English speakers! They either speak american English, texan cowboy R-style or slowing down Louisiana-Alabama slang. English is only native in England! Proof is that even the Scots don‘t speak English.

"It's all Greek to me..." is a common phrase in the U.S., as well. Translation wasn't the issue, but sarcasm may have been in full force. 😉

Correct... America is definitely not England. However, the common language spoken here is SUPPOSED to be emtb, which seems to have taken a holiday. 😉 BTW, the Welch don't speak English either, and they are body & soul residents of England.

No ..the welch is something we do if we dont want to make good on a bet ..and we only suffer the Welsh in England 😉
I think you might find that they speak both btw.
Sarcasm also at play here 😁

Rest assured, if I crap on you, it's only done with the utmost disrespect.
Whether the recipient is offended is entirely up to him/her/they.
Be careful with your pronouns please 🙏.👍🏻.

I can remember playing (when I was pre-puberty) gun carrying Caucasian immigrants and North American indigenous people. My mother would become upset if I displayed the facial markings with red paint 🎨.
😉

Yah mean Cowboys and Injuns? Stop it with all your high-brow, Mr. fancy-pants lingo. Yutta Hey, Kimosabe. 😁

As someone who is bilingual in English and Canadian, I can confirm that neither of us has any idea what a Texan cowboy is saying. We need subtitles for both sides of the border!
