Just found the forum today. I guess I am probably going to be one of, if not the oldest member @56.
Used to do a lot of riding back in the early 2000's when I lived in Wiltshire. Lived on the edge of Salisbury plain so when the army weren't
doing live firing the were open to the public. All kind of fire road riding but great fun all the same. That was done on my Specialized Rockhopper Comp, which I have just given a major overhaul so my son can use it and ride with me. He's young and fit and doesn't need an electric motor.
So today. Found out about ebikes in Halfords then found there were much better (mid drive) bikes on the web and ended out buying a
Haibike sDuro LT 4.0 from Electric Bikes Sussex and love it.
Was disappointed to find that I missed the group ride at Swinley last weekend as I live about a 20 minute ride through he forest to get to the start of the trails.
Anyway enough of my ramblings.
