Just love my Levo - But the red paint didn't grow on me

So why not sand the paint down to the carbon - just did that with very fine water sandpaper.
Just added some Kashima to the stealth
I find that the result is just me

That looks like a lot of work! :)
And very brave too, 100% kudos to you! (y)
I wonder how much value it has removed or added to the bike?

PS: Did you sand it down in your house, or just bring it in for the photos?

Did it within my house as working with the water sandpaper isn't that messy.

The resell value here in Denmark is terrible, as almost no one rides eMTBs. In 18 months I have only met 4 riders on eMTB (3 Levos and 1 Kenevo). Therefore I do not expect to get a good price anyway

Hopefully Specialized used a UV resistant epoxy because if not it will soon suffer UV damage. Suggest you now apply a UV protective lacquer.

If You don't like to sand the bike there is this product - Carbolift from Paintlifting.
I haven't tried it...but fund it on the forum of Weightweenies - They actually try do reduce weight by removing the paint ;)

Looks awesome Frank. Was it you riding in vesterlund this friday ? (me on the yellow kenevo )

Hi Askiller
Yes that was me having coffee and cookie after the first round.
Tried to catch up with You after the coffee break - But didn't manage to.

I have done trails in every corner of Denmark, but think the trails in Vesterlund are the best. Excellent flows and lots of speed :devilish:

Vesterlund is an awesome place to ride, I live just 1 km from the trail so I ride it as often as possible. Next time you will probably catch me ??
