Free Wheel Question

My Yamaha motor has a free wheel built in. The rear hub also has a free wheel built in.
If there was no hub free wheel the chain would move all the time.
You could shift whenever the bike was moving! Hard to lube chain though!
Do all motors have built in free wheel’

My Bosch also has free wheel built in. Interesting observation and I don’t know if it is better to have fixed rear or not. The benefit like you said you can always change gears as long as you’re moving. Another is has to be stronger hub without the pawl
 
Good thought on strength.
Reviews ‘like’ zero back lash hubs because there is no lag from start of peddle rotation to power.
Our dual freewheel requires both to engage.
