Intend are great. Mavens are more powerful and once setup / bled correctly are excellent brakes.
The SRAM YouTube setup video now includes the piston massage procedure. Follow that exactly and they should be great.

You Won't be dissapointed exciting times. I have big ride in Rotorua tomorrow got a few set up changes to try but it's going to be a just ride hard with crew day do will report back when done. Brakes are hopefully all sorted

I tried mavens once. They seem pretty powerful but I just dont like the lever feel.
Would love to try intends but the lack of adjustability keeps me from buying a set.. currently waiting for both the Bike and the new Hope gr4 brake to be available. Had 3 tech4 brakes so far. Currently an e4 and v4 on Trail and Enduro Bike. And some rx4s calipers on my gravel. They work flawlessly.
Wont really change much more except for the brakes to begin with.
As for the rest of your review, i am a bit hyped. But since I am waiting since may already, I am used to it. Just hoping it'll still deliver in october

April 16th is when my order went in. Just looked at my text thread with the shop and they mentioned July as the first batch shipment. Just a little off…

I just checked mine, I sent 50% deposit back on April 14th 10pm. Anyone recall when orders were opened? Edit: My email chain timeline,
- 4/11/25 WWC replied to my email telling me they were taking deposits on the E-Druids.
- 4/14/25 Paid the deposit invoice. I was told should see it end of July. "I just had the Forbiddnes sales guy stop by our office this morning and spoke with him. He said the first batch is hitting us around the end of July."
- 7/23/25 I asked for an update, "To be fully transparent, I’d say it’s looking more like the end of August or early September. Once we receive the bike, we’ll need a bit of time to get it built up and ready to ship, so delivery would be a couple weeks after it lands with us."
- 8/26/25 I asked for an update, "Bikes set to arrive in the US 9/18 - 9/25"

Sounds like it was Forbidden spreading the July disinformation.
Certainly have been delays: I swear I read they had to re-run either the chain or seatstay (unless the Norco Sight VLT chain stay confused someone online). Avinox being spun-off from DJI also contributed.
Crestline delivered, but I'm sure Forbidden has a much larger order.

anyone have any real range reports with the 600wh (ideally )? Obviously depends on a lot of factor s - weight , terrain, mode, etc , but interested to hear.

Yeah, my LBS is hoping arrival in store here in Vic late Octoberish but depending on ships, customs, etc...probably now November.
If they push into Dec... I'm heading for to the Northern Hemisphere for our summer... so no bike till April

Got my 2nd ride yesterday 30 k and 1200 metres in Rotorua and already feel up to speed. Although I have gone down 35 mm in rear travel I'm not really noticing it. Seem to be using all the travel the shock has to offer but not really feeling it bottom or get unsettled in any way. This thing is a rocketship even with the motor off. No more brake issues after bleed and they really performed great so hopefully things stay that way. Very happy customer right here. I feel it's been totally worth the wait. Oh and pleasantly surprised with the range. I have just left things on standard settings and find auto seems to work great for me. Superboost is hilariously addictive but I know I can't have too much fun with that because it will sure suck the juice. Power delivery is seemless. Low bb caught me out once even with the short cranks so it will take me brain a wee bit longer to acclimatize to that so that is something to be aware of.
Over and out off to Vegas again today. I hope your guys bikes turn up soon

I just paid the invoice for my core 2 size S2 and hopefully will get a tracking number tomorrow or maybe later today from WWC. fingers crossed to get in a ride this weekend. It's supposed to rain later today and tomorrow for some hero dirt this weekend.

. I'm in the midwest and still waiting on WWC to let me know some kind of ETA or timeframe even. I am so excited for you guys, PLEASE SEND PHOTOS AND GIVE US FIRST IMPRESSIONS!There's a big legends enduro event on in Rotorua this weekend. I know at least one core will be there and I expect to see him at the pointy end of a stacked field. One day 8 stages have been released to competitors. Some excellent choices also. Maybe pinkbike will give the event some coverage although with the DH in lake placid being on that will be the main focus
