Just out on the Forbidden druid core FB page, an ozzie poster had been told the bikes have just shipped from OS. Will arrive late November so probably not available till Dec....😠
Bummer... looks like next year for me...but on the bright side... get to see what else gets released...may jump ship if a better option pops up.
The next best thing is always just around the corner.

Just got a call from a bike shop a few hours agony of a core 2 that is available immediately on west coast. Put a deposit down, should be ready soon. Very excited
Available for pickup immediately? Or just available for sale which you made a deposit on?

Any more information here? I would love to swap my 850 out for a 600. Any idea if the mounting pattern is the same? Or where to source a 600? Anyone want to swap :)?
The frame has bolt holes for both the 600 or 800 battery on both the core and lite.

Heads up: Paco's Bike Shop in Truckee, CA currently has some E-Druids in stock! If you're interested, give them a call — they're a fantastic shop to work with. It looks like they have both Core 2 and Core 3 models available for pickup this weekend.

It's dumping rain in Truckee right now, which means hero dirt is on the way for your first ride this weekend!

Not sure if it'll make it to me this weekend but very excited!

Picking up mine this weekend there. Been working with Ryan who has been super helpful and communicative. Stoked for the bike and the trails this weekend

I am starting with the 600wh on the lite. It’s very rare these days I get more than 2 hrs to ride, but when I do I am fine going to eco since I have been on an sl bike for 5 years. If I really feel like I am lacking I would be open to getting an 800wh. I do wonder if dji will make a range extender. Completely in their wheelhouse

This guy posted his range on a Amflow with dh tires : 25% remaining , full ride in eco would equate to a full 600wh battery

assuming linear discharge

It's worth mentioning he ran the bike in eco 90% of the ride. If you ride in trail or above you'd get half the range roughly

Yeah noted that. My point was it’s possible to have big days . It would be a longer range SL type bike at that point . Heck my Kenevo sl only weighs about 1-2 less than the Druid lite

I would be happy with 20 miles and 4kft for pretty much 95% of my rides.
Outside of the many, many variables, on average I think it's reasonable to expect that out of a 600 with some detuning. My experience is on a Crestline with an 800, assuming all OE tunes are the same I think most would detune Auto and Trail 20-25%.

My last full emtb was the og kenevo with 500wh battery. I had detuned that bike for my purposes and never really needed More. Tbh more excited about the “natural feel” of the avinox than the sheer power .

Of course I say that and I may just ride turbo all the time because it’s a blast 🤣

Class 3 setting in Turbo or Boost is like a rocket ship no doubt. Do it on winding single track and it feels like 50mph, but it sucks battery life fast.

I am finding range surprisingly good.i ride mostly in turbo and have that set at 850 walts and and 105 nm. The smoothness of the motor and silence of the whole bike that are the standouts. And did I mention this thing rips. Only had it a few days and already done 4500 metres of descent

WWC just emailed me the tracking for my core 1, it's arriving next Tuesday. It'll be at the shop right away to get wrapped before I can unbox it.
If you don't mind me asking, where was yours shipping from and to what state? I didn't get a tracking number, just a message yesterday from my Arkansas LBS, saying mine had shipped. Trying to guesstimate if mine will be here before we leave for Redbull Rampage for 2 weeks. Thanks

When I first saw this bike I was ran off by the Geo. That's no longer the case however. In fact I think it might be ideal.
How is the motor noise? Lots of recent Avinox buyers don't seem to have any noise.

April I paid deposit sold my bike in June this has been a painful lesson. I long for the old days when bikes were released and you could buy them. If I hadn’t bought a shock for it I can’t return I would probs of pulled out in sept. It better be f*****g good

My understanding is this first us shipment all went through Long Beach, ca and shipped out of a warehouse to local lbs.

Thanks. If it takes 6 days, (Thursday to Tuesday to ship from Long Beach to WWC (1 hr. 6 min.) then I'm not too optimistic mine will be here by the 11th. 😋
