I have a lite s3 build 2 on order. The shop I ordered from (Paco out of truckee, ca ) said that their bikes are in customs as of early this week just waiting to be released. So should have mine shortly . Very excited after riding a gen 1 Kenevo sl for the past 4 years!

That is the first US batch from what I was told. First batch is mostly Lites and S2 bikes.

My (S3 Build 3) is in the second batch with an ETA of late Oct/early Nov as of right now. What at an odyssey, have considered jumping ship often.

Yeah I was told some other builds are coming in a second wave. I wanted a lite and the mid build seemed best value for what you get. So it worked for me!

Fanatic had a core t3 s2 too ( I had forget I was on the waitlist and they reached out )

Joined the forum as I enter my delivery week… CorE T2 S3. The first batch in NZ supposedly hit the port last Friday, so all going well I’ll have it in my sweaty mitts Wednesday.

Little concerned with weight so will investigate a 600wh battery once I get some time in the saddle.

I am same but s2 core 3 with 170 fork . Where are you based? I am hoping to be on it by the end of the week in Vegas

Auckland based. Had a trip organised to RotoVegas last weekend, but due to the delay in the Druid arrival I borrowed a Amflow from 3Sixty/Outset. First taste of the Avinox - man that thing is crazy!

Yeah there are some mean bikes out there at the moment. In our group there are 3 new sworks 2 amflows a Vala and 2 druids due this week and a velduro coming soon Things are hotting up for sure

Yep I just confirmed with worldwidecyclery they will be going out soon.

"soon" is killing me 😂

Anyone downunder in Oz received theirs yet? Seems odd that the kiwi's are getting theirs and Oz has been bypassed.
No word from my lbs on a shipment. They told me they would know when it was shipped and it would be approx. 8 weeks after that when it lands.
They ain't told me it's shipped, so it's looking like the new year to me. 😤

I checked in at my shop yesterday. The shipment has cleared customs and the supplier is due to start the process of organizing couriers to the shops tomorrow so I'm expecting to be riding maybe Friday or early next week at latest

Yip, I got the word from Bruce (NZ distributor at 3sixty) that the Druids arrive in his shop today (Wednesday),
Build and ship to shops will be underway now. I should have mine this afternoon!

Apologies to the Aussies… seems strange there’d be such a difference in delivery dates. @Red Peekay when did you order? Did you definitely get on the first shipment?

Congrats... Looking forward to some pics and ride feedback.. Enjoy

Forbidden confirmed their first batch of bikes will ship out by the end of this week (9/26/2025). A second batch is scheduled for late October, with a third batch expected in mid-November. These timelines are for US dealers (WWC and Fanatik).

Sigh... placed my order two days after Forbidden announced their release. I'm supposed to be in the first batch here...then again, who knows.

Sweet. You may be the first in nz to get to ride
Texted Bruce this arvo and he said mine was in a queue, built by Friday…. I suggested I lighten their workload by coming and grabbing mine in the box - super happy to have it in the house! (I don’t live in a dairy, that’s just where the streetlights are😂)

Interesting find - there is already "ride wrap" or similar on most of the chain stays and around the bridge of the seat/chain stays. I bought a "covered" Ride Wrap and a lot of it's not needed... With the rubber guard top and bottom the down tube only needs a small piece in the middle, too. (Edit: Actually, there's already wrap on the down tube between the rubber pads too!)

It is strange finally having one in the flesh when I’ve been staring at pictures of them like a 10yo with a Lamborghini poster for 4 months!
So what's the process from here to get it running as in software updates simcard etc. I am riding Vegas tomorrow morning there is an outside chance my bike might be ready at Pablo's to pick up after that. Excited. How does the bike feel compared to your previous whatever that was

Edit: it came with 2% battery and the standard charger is slow, so if you want a chance of riding on day 1, beg the shop to charge it!
Fingers crossed for you. Good news is that Bruce shipped 11 bikes to Pablo's yesterday, so there's a chance! I've checked on the software and it's not saying an update is necessary. SIM card is not required (I didn't even know it was a thing till I borrowed the Amflow...). The bike did feel tall in the front (as expected), but then I realised it came with four spacers under the stem :ROFLMAO:. Felt more 'normal' after that. It is heavy, but less than I was expecting -very similar to the Amflow I rode the other week which I think on paper is at least 2kg lighter. My previous bike was a V1 Druid, so it's not too foreign. Things I noted straight away (putting aside ridiculous Avinox power):
  • S3 feels fine, although obviously need to get on some single track to test properly. I'm 176cm and was worried it was too big. My old Druid Large is more aligned with the S2... There's probably some motivated reasoning there, cause I ain't got an option to change!
  • The GX Electronic Transmission is awesome - quite loud on changes, but so defined and reliable. I had an XTR on my old Druid and never fully gelled with it.
  • I can have the seatpost slammed and the 210mm travel is absolutely perfect. I was worried I'd be too short for the travel. Man, the seat sits so low compared to my old Druid!
  • No surprise, but it definitely feels a lot less 'trail bike' compared to my 130/150 Druid.
  • I've never ridden a DH bike, so with the seat fully down, the high front end feels crazy, but get into attack mode and I feel I have so much room
  • The Select+ suspension feels plush. Looking forward to tinkering with it on a trail. Might even break out my old shockwiz - an ebike will rule for running the same bit of trail multiple times for set up!
I hope yours arrives. It's gonna rip in Vegas! Can't remember if I mentioned in this Forum, but I rode the Amflow up the main shuttle route the other weekend - shuttle pick up to Billy T - it took 9 min! It did use nearly 20% of the battery... On the flip side, I went up Apumoana in Eco at a 'normal' speed and it used 6%.

One more photo of her in final form - ride wrap on (I give myself 4/10 for the job... but it's on and protected :ROFLMAO:), Conti Tyres, Carbon Oneup bar, bottle cage and oneup pump/EDC -otherwise stock CorE T2, S3.

Yeah ive been riding with a couple of new sworks and a pimped amflow so I am fully aware of how quick these new motors are. I think the simcard enables gps tracking in case any bad peeps take a liking to your bike. My current cannodale runs a 200 mm boxxer so the high front should feel normal to me. Happy trails
