Unanswered Flat shoes for wide feet

I've had a couple of pairs of flat shoes now but they always come up small and too thin and I end up sending them back.. been riding O'Neal pinned shoes and they are ok but not very comfy (and still too thin) so I bought some ride concepts powerlines. I ordered half a size over normal and they were still so small that I couldn't get my feet in them. As well as that, they just felt cheaper than the price tag would suggest.
given we are locked down and I cant really go to a shop and try loads out, what are people wearing that suit wide feet? if this reference is familiar it might help, when I was playing sports I had to buy mizuno boots, all the other brands were too thin on the foot..

while its true that they suit wide feet, I am not sure they will suit my trails in Wales

Why would you think wellies wouldn't be suitable in one of the wettest areas of the UK?

Wellies aren't actually as bad to ride in as you'd expect..

Far better than flippers.

I've raced DH in Wales BITD in wellies. They were actually grippier on a flat pedal than any other riding shoes I'd ever wear.

My feet are pretty wide, I use 5-10 free ride elements which are pretty good in the wet as well

Yeah .. but low centre of gravity ! You're improving things !! Add some mud - it only gets better !!

Fill them with sheep droppings .. better still ...... he is in Wales ....... I've lived in Wales ........

True story: I slipped off the pedal in wellies and pulled an arm muscle, so bought some specialised roost shoes which feet my wide feet and really stick great to the pedals!

Try in a pair of shimano gr9 , I’ve wide feet and these are comfier than 5tens with a wider ball !

I'm normal sized on my Shimano's.
