Extender battery?

You don't need to match system voltage. The Levo RE doesn't. Electric motors can operate on a wide range of voltages, and regularly do, as the voltage of these packs isn't constant. It drops as they discharge. I don't know exactly how combining a RE and main pack works, as it drains both simultaneously
5 cells would be 350wh and 18v that will not even turn on the motor😉

The operating range of 36v battery pack go from 42v fully charge to around 30-32v completely discharged and when at around 33v the motor cannot provide full power anymore. So it is impossible to use the same cells in a 5 series.

Running in parallel requires the same voltage (this is why you should start with both full) and same cells type, running in parallel different cells type is not good. This is why DJI switches and don’t work in parallel as RS600 and FP700 use vastly different cells.

My Giant also switches as soon as the main battery is drained it switches to the RE and to perform the switch it briefly cut power.

Will be interested to see what it is.. the RS600 extender sounds a bit messy, from what it sounds like will need a different charger to work with the new shape plug on the PR.
Never mind it only fits bigger frames and at 600wh is OTT for the majority.

Hopefully an FP330 RE battery will just plug straight in to a PX and use the same charger!

Hopefully whatever arrives will use a slimmer plug and connector as well because as it is now it won't work with my Forbidden as the cranks will catch the cable/plug/charging cover 🙄
