Vertical should mean something. It's what drains your battery 😂

You'll do 100km on the flat with the Avinox, add in some decent vert and you'll do a third of that

The above screenshot shows you don't do much climbing. I normally do 25-30ish miles with 2-3x vertical on an 800wh and have yet to fully drain it on a ride.

Then you don't need an ebike. 😆

We do both miles and vertical.

Even in ECO you can drain a battery is less than 10 miles with 6000ft -8000ft vertical of climbing. We do 30-40 mile rides with 6000ft to 8000ft vertical on a regular basis.

If you feel like you want an extender, go to the avinox website and they have an easy easy to send suggestions. Maybe they will listen.

I have money down on the commencal, but without an extender here in Colorado it won't fit my needs for high altitude adventure. I will go Bosch.

That's what I told them.

If not I guess I just have to get in shape. Haha

I tried that twice and both times they said they have no intention of doing an extender.

Maybe if we keep putting the heat on them. I already have a YT Duck with not enough battery. My friend on his Bosch gets way better range. This drives me crazy and I will not buy a bike that cannot meet my distance and vertical needs. Avinox needs to know that they will lose sales due to this.

My record holder is a Bosch with four 500 batteries. I keep one on my bike and three in my backpack. Absolute record.

I see the Amflow is back on sale. Me and a few buddies would sure like one, but still no extender. I guess we will all be on Levos again this year... with extenders.

Looks like payment with paypal is possible so if something goes wrong...
Anyone with deep pockets here to give it a try and report back?
I gave it a try- paid in November- never received battery. They said was lost on transit after 3 mths! I paid on PayPal so got money back.

I bought the one from this Spanish shop, with 425Wh, and honestly, it works perfectly for me. Best of all, it connects to the charging port; you just plug it in and you're ready to go.

Do you have a pro or non-pro bike? Asking for the clearance to the rear shock.

Any pics?

Two months and I've used it in a mountain bike race with no problems.
Post some pics of it installed. Ive seen a few people order this extender and never received it.

Has anyone actually used one of these aftermarket extenders? I have yet to see an actual pic or see anyone running one.

Has anyone seen this?

Not having an extender is a dealbreaker for me anyway. I have my Pivot Shuttle AM tuned down to 45 NM max and -5 level of Assist (the lowest). The best I can squeeze out of it would probably be 6,000-6.500 before I am down to 10% or limp mode. The extender will give me another 2K maybe. If I had it on default, I'd probably get (in the mellowest mode) 4,500-5,000 max on the main battery. I do have an extender for the truly epic all-day rides in the mountains. I would never buy a bike that did not have an OEM extender. The Fazua is out for that reason, and I actually did not realize that Amflow did not make/have an extender. Here it is all about vertical as well. Miles mean little...they come by default in the mountains. The real thing is vertical.

In answer to the aftermarket extender question...I would be very very hesitant unless it was from a company with a long track record of building batteries and electrical items. I'd be devastated if the house caught fire or something someday. I try to never leave it on overnight charging, or leave the house with the bike charging, but I I may forget someday. With the chargers I have had, they all cool off and disconnect once done charging. I am a bit paranoid the first few times I do it.

Where are you located? I am asking because there were two other people in this thread that never received theirs.

Like someone else asked, could you share any pics? It would be good to see "real" pics that are not from the seller's site.

That's most likely just spam, he never showed a picture of his extender here.

Im confused on the new 600wh extender for the PR. How would the extender fit the L, PR Carbon Pro but not the L, PR Carbon? I think they have that backwards. The Pro has the Fox Float X.

Does anyone know when the RS 600 battery will be available as an extender? A PR model would be just the thing... but the 700 battery doesn't get you very far in our mountains.

It is a mistery, it is impossible to find the RS600 but also you cannot find the "ugly" mounting kit and cable (square to round). On top of that without a special cable you cannot charge the RS600 (square plug) with the PX charger (round plug). It would be bad if you need to buy another charger.

Has anyone yet seen the extender in person?

Will the extender fit anything else but Amflow bikes?

Other than in promotional videos and on YouTube, I haven't seen anything yet. Are these items even available through retailers? I think Amflow just launched a PR campaign to reassure people who want something like this.;)

I was hoping to buy an Amflow or two for me and the wife, but no extender, no buy.

When the extender is available, maybe I'll buy a couple PRs if I haven't already bought a new Bosch bike with an extender.
