Darron battery issues with Shimano EP8

Anyone with an EP8 motor that uses the Darfon battery and not the Shimano battery ever have this issue.

Battery will have a lots of charge. At some point during ride Heckler turns off and won’t turn back on. Battery status led shows “Soft Start Fail”.

Bike is a Santa Cruz Heckler.

Yes, this turned out to be the Darfon battery. Despite the Shimano app showing no error codes associated with the battery, when swapped with another battery, issues with it suddenly dying were never encountered again. My shop got me another battery under warranty after Shimano rep came to store and also could not find out what was wrong with the battery.
