CX gen4 resistance

Is it normal to feel slight resistance when spinning the crank when the bike is on repair stand? And a slight “dragging” noise?

When does it disengage? E8000 spinned pretty freely on the stand but this Bosch motor is totally different tech?

I don't feel much difference between my G4 and my old Shimano e8000. There is a little resistance, but a lot less than my Brose.

Hmm could this be the cause? The cog is clearly dragging against that plastic cover.
